25.01.2022 It was so good to be able to do a photo session at the beach. Especially when I've only ever known the Desert and dry creekbeds. An overcast day and the sun came out for a while but thankfully No Flies lol !!! So definitely can't complain.

Here's a Throwback to 2016 with 3 of my babies, back when taking photos of them didn't cost me so much in bribes The sunset, that Golden Hour and the pretty in the skies is something I really miss from the Central Desert. 12.01.2022 Looking through my past work for a current project. Now I'm reminiscing about the Beautiful people and the Glorious Splendour of the Central Desert. Missing the Homelands, West MacDonnell Ranges, Simpsons Gap and the Red Sand Dunes on old south road to name a few. With each Beauty in and around Alice Springs being so different in their own little way, there Ain't nothing like it!! So with a few new photo sessions booked I look forward to finding my new fave places outdoors here in the Hunter area.

11.01.2022 On our family outing on the weekend in the middle of the farming country we came across part of fencing that was covered with old discarded shoes of all kinds. On our travels across the states and territory I always am amazed at seeing things on the side of the road that catch your eye where it is covered with all sorts of random things. For example like hard hats on one tree along the road to Lightning Ridge or the big ant mounds along the road to Darwin dressed in peoples shirts like you're driving past all these little families, or a tree covered with empty bottles. But never did I think I'd come across fenceline in farming country like this .

03.01.2022 Hi Everyone, my name is Milly. I'm a Proud Ngiyampaa woman with connections to Broken Hill, Cunnamulla (Kooma) and Goodooga (Murrawurri). I wanted to introduce myself to all the new Followers and those who may not know me personally. I remember as a young kid growing up in the Beautiful small country town of Tenterfield in the New England area, I had big dreams of what I wanted to be when I grow up. For many years, as a book lover and those who knew me growing up I would alw...ays have my head in a book. It was my kind of escape. So I wanted to be a Journalist, to flutter around with the power of words and description. In my teenage years I then wanted to become a Lawyer, to be a part of making effective change in the system. I even started my Law degree in the Big Smoke. But as life can make unexpected changes to your journey, I ended up in Alice Springs met my partner of 15 years and we now have 4 Beautiful precious ones. Who knew that during my time up in Alice Springs it is where I finally found my Passion that would drive me and allow me to nurture my creativity. My self-taught journey into Photography was just a leap of Faith and Trusting in myself to take a chance and step outside the box. I had no idea, I just wanted to see where it could take me. I am forever grateful for Alice Springs and the opportunities I was afforded, after all it was where Milly Moments Photography began for me. With my Creative Passion I know I have found my True Calling. After almost 8 years up in Alice Springs, for a lifestyle change with our children and for our family unit we returned back to Newcastle earlier this year and honestly I'm really Loving being back on NSW soil.
