10.01.2022 One mans trash is another mans treasure is a lyric from a new song Ive been writing called I Cant Throw You Away. Its based on the premise that what some people find worthless others might find valuable. I was inspired to write this song as I was looking at a dull old knife I to do gardening with. Previously it used to be our cutting knife but the blade wore down over time and I repurposed it and used it ever since.... I kinda just wrote a story around that concept of finding purpose in things that seem useless. I think there is a bigger metaphor somewhere in the song. Anyways, here is a little song about an old knife. Hope you like it! Maybe you have something other people think is useless that you cant seem to throw away. I dont think it matters what people think of you if you know that what you are deciding to hold onto serves some kind of a purpose or significance. Do you!
