25.01.2022 Exercise 1 of my personal knee rehab program Alongside manual treatment & laser therapy, all my clients & personal rehab programs incorporate movement based protocols to compliment the modalities used to speed up MSK healing & recovery. ... We need to recover faster on a cellular level with appropriate treatment, but we need to be strong & functional. Theres no other way to rehab. It involves all of it, together. Simple. I use this at the START of the workout to activate or map & prime my hamstrings/glutes prior to any squatting movement patterns (after some floor & band work). 1 Externally rotated foot position, heels into bar 2 Knee flexion 3 Hip crease over the front side of the bench 4 Isometric forces applied into the bar from creates insane tension in the hamstrings & glutes (make sure theres enough weight on the bar that you dont push it off!) 5 Lowering my torso into hip flexion & the eccentric phase of the movement the hamstrings are forced to resist head butting the ground Either Im super weak, or these are harder than they look!
