10.01.2022 Yesterday, Premier Daniel Andrews announced 3 lists that will apply to businesses during Stage 4 restrictions. These changes, combined with previous restrictions mean that many industry's deemed non-essential will have to work from home or completely close if they are unable to work remotely. Whilst this is only for Melbourne, closures will affect business across Victoria and Australia. I have found there to be a lot of self interpreted lists being distributed on the internet... and in media. The Department of Human Health and Services (DHHS) have released the official list of who can remain on-site and who cannot: https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au//Stage%204%20Industries%20-%20 Workers are now required to have permits in stage 4, and businesses in stage 3 that employ essential workers from Melbourne must have a Covid Safe Plan. More announcements are to be made in the coming days including for those in regional Victoria. Keep informed with DHHS updates as well us the Restriction Breakdown on the Victorian Government website. I empathise with all business owners and workers during this challenging time and ask anyone to contact me if they need support and assistance in understanding what their business is able to do.
