15.01.2022 We had some lovely and much appreciated Xmas gifts from our customers, but this present for Bernie from a five year old was gorgeous .

14.01.2022 Just some extra items we make in the shop. Meat loaf which is delicious hot or cold the next day, great to give the kids in their lunch box, and our lamb empanadas.

09.01.2022 After some cold cuts, we have rolled turkey breast with a parsley, sage, rosemary & thyme butter, and a salt and pepper rare roast beef.

05.01.2022 Hi Folks, just to let you know that while the shopping centre renovations are being done we and all the store owners are open for business as usual. Don't forget that there is an underground car park beneath the centre, entry via Wight St,(IGA end). If you don't want to come to the centre because of the renovations Bernie will do home delivery ( FREE) to the surrounding areas. Milton, Paddington, Auchenflower, Bardon, Red Hill, Ashgrove & The Gap. There will be a minimum order of $30 required. Delivery time will be Monday to Friday between 11am till 2pm. 04.01.2022 Some new customers have recently asked us if we know how to bone out chickens,and have been so surprised when our answer is well yes, of course. They had been to other shops where they could not have that done. Bernie and Steve can do all of the things you would expect from qualified Butchers. If you want some thing boned, rolled and stuffed it will take about 5 minutes, that's how good they are. Every thing is done fresh at our shop, nothing is bought in pre cryvaced that has been made else where. If you want good old fashioned service with the highest quality of meat, that won't cost you an arm or a leg then please come in and visit us. Cheers, Michele. ( aka, the butchers wife)
