21.01.2022 I thought I would just welcome anyone and everyone to this page. It is still mostly under construction at this time, however I will be making updates at least a few times a week. I did post before about the Toowoomba Show this weekend but the thing is that it won't be on until this week. Feel so silly :-P However the stud sheep section won't be until Thursday. So good luck to all the participants!

Apologies if I have left anyone out) Without you, we wouldn't have such a great competition each year :) (All results available at: http://www.toowoombashow.com.au//Stud_Meat_Sheep_Results_2) Lambing update: The white suffolk ewes are popping a lot of twins out so hopefully we will have a decent drop for sale several months from now. Since the suffolk ewes don't cycle until later compaired to the whites, unfortunately we haven't any suffolk lambs yet.

18.01.2022 The companion site for this page is now live. It can be reached at http://miltonparksuffolkandwhitesuffolkstud.com/. It is still under construction, however, so please remain patient as I work on getting it decked out ;)

14.01.2022 Due to illness, time constraints, and, obviously, the inability to actually attend the Dubbo show personally, I have been unable to get the specifics of the classes where we won the ribbons and how many of each we actually got. However, I was told that we received a few 3rds and some 5ths, which we were extremely happy with considering the astounding number of exhibitors and their sheep. A huge congratulations to all the breeders and exhibitors who came to showcase their outstanding sheep! Hopefully we will have even more tremendous competition next year :)

10.01.2022 The studmaster, Josh Milton, had a lot of trouble trying to work out what ewe lambs to keep for his stud flock today. Thirteen fine young animals all with most of the attributes he likes in his sheep and he had to choose nine to keep. It just goes to show that we are starting to get pretty good genetics in our flock now. The quality of the lambs that we had this year has been fantastic thanks to our Bowen and Farrer rams :) Hope everyone else is finding the right mix for their genetics, too!

08.01.2022 Everyone ready for the yearly ram sale in Inglewood in February?!

07.01.2022 Our results for the Dubbo show are still pending. The Stud master is due back home today so will have the results within the next few days. Thanks. Congradulations in advance to all the exhibitors for their fine company and competition :-)

07.01.2022 Well, as the year draws to a close, it is time to reflect back on our accomplishments and consider mistakes, working out how to improve and learn from them. Some of us, though we may spend time with family and friends during the holiday period, will still be focusing for the next round of shows and sales coming up in the new year. All of us here at Milton Park are working hard in getting our sheep up to scratch for the first Show and it is a case of 'no rest for the wicked'! We will be sure to have some beautiful sheep both to show and up for sale in the coming months as our lambing was really fantastic with some really fine looking ewe and ram lambs. And we wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Will see you around the circuit, our friends.

04.01.2022 We are having a particularly good lambing this year. The white suffolks have been lambing madly over the past three months and the suffolks have started about a month ago. Quite a few twins. Looking forward to some good rain, however. How about everyone else? Got rye grass planted but at the moment we need more rain because if the sheep go on it they pull it up by the roots; it hasn't had the chance to go too deep yet as it has been too dry.

02.01.2022 Apologies for it being so long since I have updated. Still around and still quite active. The Inglewood Ram Sale, though down in numbers of bidders, was still very successful. For our part it went the exact opposite to last year. We sold all our white suffolks and none of our suffolks! You just can never tell. So thank you to all who made the day possible and we hope that all the buyers have much success with the rams they bought on the day. Likewise the Allora, Clifton, Pit...tsworth and Warwick shows have been good for our stud. I have been flat out with some family issues so I have not been able to keep up a running commentary on each show's successes, details of sheep for sale or photos but hopefully things should settle down in the coming months so that I can start doing so. Hopefully more frequent posts will follow.

01.01.2022 Interested in buying a Suffolk or White Suffolk ram? Come to the Annual Farm Fest at Toowoomba ad view our fantastic rams for the next season! We will be here at the sheep/cattle section of the grounds today, tomorrow and Thursday. See you there!
