25.01.2022 Due to a huge lack of players not signing up for rep trials , they are currently postponed . We have only had 5 people sign up across 6 junior teams . We understand that times are different at the moment but without players signing up for trials we cannot have teams to compete for next years rep season . 21.01.2022 Attention all players from the Men's comp It's time to brush the rust off, and lace up your high tops. We are looking to start a new comp starting next school term,but realise we haven't probably touched a ball for weeks or even months.... So what we would like to do is hold 1 hr training/shoot around sessions free of charge for all teams over the coming weeks. We have worked out our covid plans and have made it safe for all players. So what we propose is at the following time teams can train. Crt 1 7pm Smartline and Hawks Crt 2 715pm Cjw and Milton hotel sharks Crt 1 815pm dragons and tigers Crt 2 830pm big ballers and marlin. Razorbacks will be included the following week. Can all the above teams please send me a list of players that are going to attend the sessions so we can comply with our covid guidelines Please note that these are not games!!!! Each team will be allowed a maximum of 10 players, and will occupy half a court. Of those 10 players all will have to be players from the last comp. Please don't bring along any new players or friends as they will not be allowed in. We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday night M.U.B.A

20.01.2022 High school comp is back!!! Game times as follows Court 1 senior comp... 6pm flint tropics vs G.o.a.t Court 2 junior comp 615pm big ballers vs Giants Court 2 junior comp 715 pm Black death vs Friday frothers. Flaming Johnnie's have the bye Please make sure that you have your court fees ready before the game so we can start on time. Parents please note that there are no spectators allowed for any of the games. Players will enter via the main doors and exit out of the doors at the end of the court. During game times the main door of the stadium will be closed. All players will have to sign in when entering providing their full name as well as a phone number or email address. This is for contact tracing. There will also be no canteen facilities. All players will have to bring a drink with them. Players will not be able to bring a ball with them due to covid restrictions. 19.01.2022 IMPORTANT CHANGES TO HIGHSCHOOL COMP Due to an unforeseen problem, we will have to delay the start of the high school comp by one week. The new start date will be Wednesday the 16th of September. Can all teams that have not sent in a nomination for this comp please send their nominations to [email protected] by this Friday at the latest. No nominations will be accepted after this date If you don’t have a team, but are wanting to play please also send me your full name and ...the year that you are in school, and we will endeavour to find a team for you. Also please be advised that due to covid 19 restrictions we are not allowed spectators. All players must only arrive 5 minutes before the start of their game. No player will be let in before this time. We once again apologies for the delays in re starting the competition. It is important that we all adhere to these rules so we can all get back to normality as soon as possible. MUBA is doing it's best to resume our normal competition and training schedule as soon as possible. ... We have not forgotten about you!!! 14.01.2022 Attention all highschool comp players Game fees are $40 per team. They need to be paid before the start of the game. Please don't bring your own ball. Due to covid restrictions we can't have outside equipment in the stadium.... Most importantly all players must arrive 5 mins before their game, and leave immediately at the end of their game. This will limit the chance of players gathering outside the stadium. We all need to work together and ensure that these rules are followed. We all are very keen for basketball to return, and hope to start the men's and women's comp as soon as possible. Thanks Gaz

12.01.2022 By request we have opened up the applications for the academy’s term 4 program to players U14 . So both boys and girls can submit their application . Be quick a spots are filling up! MUBA is pleased to announce that the Milton Basketball Academy programm will be resuming for term 4 ! As always the academy’s goal is to increase the skill level and basketball IQ of the players attending.... Start date will be Saturday 24th October running for 8 weeks to 12th December , costing $80 with a training shirt provided. Start time 8.30am - 10.00am To submit a appplication to be a part of this coming program please email coach at [email protected]. That email should include some information about you , what you would like to achieve and your basketball goals. The more information included the better as this will help coach decide on who gets selected for the program. Entries are now open and will close 17th October. 04.01.2022 We are very excited that both adult and kids sports can recommence from 1st July. We are currently working hard on developing our Covid Safe Plan for our return to competition in conjunction with Basketball NSW, Shoalhaven City Council (owners of the stadium) and the Milton Show Committee (manages the stadium). There will be no games this school term. We are working hard to have games resume in Term 3 but we will provide updates in coming weeks on dates and our Covid Safe Plan.

02.01.2022 Thank you to everyone for their continued patience. We are currently working hard on developing our Covid Plan in conjunction with Basketball NSW and Shoalhaven City Council. We have guidelines we need to follow in relation to ensuring we are Covid Safe. We are working through how we can meet these requirements given the shared use of facilties at the stadium with Blazeaid volunteers. Given the recent increase in cases of Covid 19 we want to ensure that we are meeting all requirements to ensure the return to basketball is as safe as possible for our members. We will provide further updates as soon as we can.
