25.01.2022 Are you feeling 'blah' aka 'languishing'? https://bit.ly/3xtKWzy

21.01.2022 Life = Learning + Progress ... which 'Signs Of Progress' do you relate to ...?

21.01.2022 Self-belief. Two small words. One big life change! ... When Dave first came to me, he was physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted . He had always pushed himself to be the best at what he does, and this time it came at a cost To his confidence levels To his self-belief To himself . He told me that he needed the tools to start believing in himself again and to find the best version of himself so he didn’t self-sabotage. He told me that understanding life and himself was important to him so he tended to be a very deep thinker which would slow him down. In a nutshell, he needed his confidence back. His self-belief. Because self-doubt and a lack of confidence doesn’t discriminate between gender or between people. It happens to all of us. We started working together and he found his biggest challenge to be looking at his true self. Understanding what made him HIM what he was happy to keep and what he needed to change . So the hardest part of the journey was what he called the ‘waking up’. Understanding himself better. He made personal breakthroughs. In fact, the changes started happening in the first week. He felt he climbed mountains . He regained his confidence. His self-belief. He took back control of his life so that now he’s a happier person living a happier life ! Why am I telling you this? Because if you’re on a similar journey to Dave, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about and what he went through. And you’ll know too that you CAN climb the mountains You CAN make those breakthroughs You CAN take back control . You CAN have your confidence and self-belief back . You just need to be willing and committed. Like Dave. HERE’S MORE ON DAVE’S STORY https://bit.ly/2KfApE9 #Confidence

20.01.2022 A GREAT WAY TO START 2021 ... By the time you read this, I'll probably be in surgery ... About 5 months ago, I started getting debilitating cramps at the beginning of my period ... not the 'usual' period pain so many women are forced to endure every month ......Continue reading

19.01.2022 UPDATE ON SURGERY ... Was going to do a long post on my experience this week but will save that for later ... Just wanted to say this for now ...... That I’m so grateful to be home and come home to some beautiful flowers and little hand-written notes my daughter left for me all around the house ... My experience has reminded me to be grateful for the little things in life and the things/people we can often take for granted ... So today, whilst I’m sore and know my recovery will be slow and long, I’m also grateful for the sunshine ! Love to hear what you’re grateful for or feeling appreciative for today ... #DailyGratitudes

11.01.2022 My daughter's Athletics Carnival was on today. I always love going to watch her at these events and feel fortunate that I can as she is growing up so fast. What I'm most proud of is that she always wants to participate ... give things a go ... no matter the outcome. And because of this, she has developed a resilience and inner strength I never had at her age. Today as I was watching the other kids, I felt an equal measure of pride and admiration ... For their willingness to p...articipate and give it a go, whatever the conditions. As it was a cold day and it started to rain part way through. The kids who were waiting for their race to start were doing their best to keep warm. Forget about staying dry! As race after race finished, I watched these kids run to the finishing line, their hair plastered to their face from the rain. Then another race started, and as I watched, I noticed a lone figure trailing behind in last place, well behind the rest of the pack. I recognised her distinctive running style almost immediately. It was one of my daughter's school mates. And here's what struck me the most ... As she rounded the last bend on the home stretch to the finishing line being the only one left in the race, she had the biggest smile on her face. And as she finally crossed the finishing line, all the parents and teachers let out the biggest cheer. How awesome was that. And how awesome is she! For while she may not be a natural runner ... and she may have come last ... it didn't matter to her. She participated ... she gave it her all ... and she did it with such joy and enthusiasm. Such a beautiful reminder of how to live life. Embracing each moment and having the courage to participate no matter the outcome. She may not have won the race but she was a winner in my eyes. Because life is not about how many trophies, awards or first places you collect ... the true meaning and fulfilment of it is from the participation. Embracing new experiences. Giving it your best. Now that's something to be proud of ...
