25.01.2022 Carpark clear today..Tradies having a weekend off..see you soon

23.01.2022 I'm sorry but i am u nable to open today. 90% of my customers are walkers and riders, but mid week I open for vunerable community groups and they can't park today due to the tradies having no where to park. The builder said he has spoken to the ACT Gov..let's see! Again share and tag away my friends, This is not about coffee, it's about meeting people, excercise and mental health.

20.01.2022 Car Park Update... I recieved a call today from TCCS in regards to the car parking. The builder has told TCCS that he will be finished within 3 months so hence his tradies will be gone. TCCS is looking into putting 3 hour parking there so the residents do NOT use the car park. This is not definite as they will assess the situation. I also asked if lines could be put in car park to utilize the space properly ...geez all i want to do is make you guys coffee !!! ...lol.. P.s...everyone parked parralel to the curb on the weekend which i thought was great !

18.01.2022 Dear customers, we would like to say sorry if we upset you today. . The wind was so strong this morning we had to close our "Pick Up" window and hence had to pass our coffees via the "order window". We have had some negetive feedback about us calling out names when coffee was ready. Please understand Mimi's has strict rules with covid 19 and ACT health guideline. We can NOT have you hanging around the counter. I think myself and my fabulous staff have done a great job over the past few stressful months.

17.01.2022 Weather looking fab over the weekend except for extreme cold mornings..no one wants icicles out of the coffee machine, so we may open alittle later than than normal..say 8.30ish..

16.01.2022 WARNING !!! Parking tickets.. I need you to share and tag in your local politicians....This needs to be withdrawn ! 1. They sell land off to build dwellings for more residents..... 2. Fix pathways and waterways to encourage Lake use. 3. Install a fabulous learn to ride park 4. Put a great shade sail up 5. Upgrade the dog park BUT they don't do surrounding infastructure to cater for us to use the facilities and then hit the public with parking infringements for parking on dirt when car park is full. Please don't shame or abuse anyone..just show your support to get these withdrawn and work towards a solution.. Thankyou, Mimi on behalf of the Community. xx

14.01.2022 PARKING News...Joy Burch contacted me today to follow up on the parking debacle on Mortimer Lewis Drive... The construction group are sending a construction parking plan to TCCS to provide alternate parking for approx 15 vehicles. They also discussed the option of having some Nova branded corflutes in the learn to ride car park with messaging asking construction workers not to park there. Nova advised they are only 2-3 weeks away from being able to accommodate all parking ...on site. Let's hope this happens. Thanks Joy.

04.01.2022 SO..as predicted 7.30am this morning car park is full of tradies, .It is not their fault they have no where to park, but now all spaces are taken. I have community groups that come for social gatherings to help with lonliness, parent groups and of course the general public. using the lake....What a stuff up ! When you sell to build where to you think people are going to park !!
