25.01.2022 Our Containers for Change refund point will be closed from Thursday at 2pm for the long weekend. We will re-open on Monday 22nd June at 8am. Our bag drop facility is available for Scheme ID holders 24/7, however we ask that you do not drop glass bottles into the bag drop. When your glass bottles break, they become ineligible for refund, and it presents a safety hazard for our staff. Thank you for your co-operation, and we hope you all enjoy your long weekend

23.01.2022 For all of our Containers for Change customers who are using our After Hours Bag Drop Facility, we do ask that you ensure your containers are secure / sealed in the bags or cartons you are using. Please also include a phone number so that we are able to contact you directly with any concerns regarding your order. When we have multiple orders that are not secure, it's impossible for us to correctly allocate the containers and refund. Please do not throw bags over our fence, ...not only is this dangerous, the bags often bust open and you cannot be credited with the correct amount. Large bags that do not fit through the bag drop drawers or glass containers, must be dropped off during opening hours. As a reminder, if you cannot get in to our refund tunnel during business hours, please contact us on 07 4749 1235 or by emailing [email protected] and we will do our best to assist you. 20.01.2022 We are continuing to expand our Containers for Change Refund area. We have a part time position and a full time position available in the refund area - with focus on customer service. The successful applicants must be able to work as part of our team, in a fast paced environment while completing all relevant paperwork with attention to detail. 16.01.2022 CALLING ALL LOCAL SPORTING GROUPS AND CHARITIES! Mt Isa Metal Recyclers Container Refund Point has a number of reusable mesh bags (as pictured) for your eligible containers. We would like to invite any local sporting groups and charities to come out to our depot and collect these bags free of charge. Please label each bag with a name, contact phone number and your Scheme ID.... We would also like to introduce an option to drop these bags off at our depot on Saturdays between 8am and 2pm for these groups with a Scheme ID (No Cash Sales). These orders will be counted and processed during the next working week, and we can contact you when your order is complete to collect your bags.

13.01.2022 Good Morning, we are open Monday to Friday 8am to 2pm for your container recycling needs. We are paying cash and have put measures in place for your safety and the safety of our staff. Please consider getting a scheme ID if you haven't already, just go to containersforchange.com.au to set this up, our bag drop facility for scheme ID holders is available 24/7. 12.01.2022 We will lose power today while Ergon are working on the lines; the Containers for Change refund area will be open as normal, however the scrap metal area will not be operating today. We apologise for any inconvenience.

02.11.2021 From today 1-7-21 the Containers for Change Refund Point will now offer extended opening times Monday to Friday 8.00AM - 4.00PM Saturday 8.00AM - 2.00PM These hours are for both cash and scheme id customers. ... Our bag drop facility is still available 24/7 for scheme id customers for everything but glass. Mt Isa Metal Recyclers (scrap metal) opening hours remain the same 7.30AM-4.30PM Monday to Friday.

07.10.2021 It's come to our attention that Google has our Container Refund Point as 'temporarily closed' - this is certainly not the case - we are still opening 8am - 2pm Monday to Friday for all customers, and 8am - 2pm for Scheme ID customers to drop off your containers for refund.
