25.01.2022 Meet Dona Dulce from Pinheirinho farm. Being born blind hasnt stopped her from becoming a coffee farmer and coffee roaster. At their small farm, she and her husband Jose Paulo are the only workers. Together, they take care of all processes and produce beautiful microlots for us each year. They are part of a healthy competition between participating towns from Alta Mogiana region. This time our fundraising goal is to donate 200 tablets + pre-paid internet to children living in rural areas with no access to home schooling. With the cancellation of the event due to the pandemic, our efforts are now being redirected to make home schooling possible in such adverse conditions. 10.01.2022 Posted @withregram @feira.gima . GIMA Intermunicipal Games for the Environment... GIMA is already a well-known event in the region and involves several cities in Alta Mogiana Paulista. We were already preparing for the 13th GIMA in 2020, when we were surprised and overwhelmed by the pandemic and, with that, we had all our projects suspended. The 2019 GIMA was attended by more than 2,000 children. With the support of our employees and our sponsors, based on questions about the children and what could be done even in the face of this very peculiar moment, the proposal for a "different GIMA" came. It was challenging! The number of children without access to online classes, due to lack of equipment, is very large. The mission, then, is to allow and provide tools for them to return to study. Two batches of smartphones have already been delivered, in Cristais Paulista and Ribeirão Corrente.
