25.01.2022 We have been working hard behind the scenes to streamline our website and make it accessible and user-friendly. Our aim is to make sure those who need our services can find all the relevant information based on their individual needs and circumstances. Our homepage is now completely tailored to support those who are seeking workshops for children and young people VS those who are looking for workplace and community programs.... We would love for you to have a look around and see for yourself the changes we have made to better accommodate our community. https://zcu.io/yGdv

25.01.2022 The power of collaboration. Some of our major achievements would not have been possible without collaborating with so many amazing organisations Australia wide. We’re super grateful, even in times of a global pandemic, that we can come together in some way to make a bigger impact to the wider community.

24.01.2022 6 The 6th step in early intervention Avoid accidental counselling Listening without judgement is a great way to be there for someone. But it’s important to remember that they are best suited to talk to a mental health professional about it.

24.01.2022 Our core values support early intervention practice as a first response to getting people the help they need.

22.01.2022 Exam stress and anxiety can be hard topics to discuss with primary school goers. That’s why our interactive performances are successful ways of approaching these topics. Our highly skilled actors throw on some crazy wigs and props to make it a fun and engaging way to address these serious issues.... Early efforts of intervention are needed something as simple as helping children learn about feelings and help seeking is a crucial part of mental health awareness.

21.01.2022 8 The 8th step in early intervention Not acting is not ok I's important that we all work on supporting someone as best as we can. If you see signs that their mental and emotional health could be affected, then it's vital we act on it.

20.01.2022 7 The 7th step in early intervention It’s ok to ask for help If someone is not ok, and you don’t know how to help them its ok to let them know this. Tell them that you are going to find out how best to support them.

17.01.2022 Why does showcasing lived experience stories matter? We always want our performance to capture realistic life-like portrayals of what it is like to struggle with mental health issues. Having an MC in the casting mix allows for control of the action. ... They captivate the audience in trying to problem-solve alternate pathways for the characters. Giving them the power to visually see the scenes play out.

13.01.2022 Are you keen to learn how our programs work? Here is a sneak peek of the narrative behind our exam stress/anxiety story. This story of lived experience was inspired by a concerned school teacher who could see how much some of the student's mental health had been affected by student's internal pressures, as well as their perceived eternal expectations. By the end of the story, Chelsea experience's her first panic attack. The combination of self-imposed pressure, coupled with... obsessively working on assignments & not getting enough sleep has sent her over the edge. Chelsea feels very confused and doesn’t understand why this has happened!?!? We want to know if you relate to the storyline? 2020 hosted a lot of anxiety for many families.
