17.01.2022 There have been many studies and this is one of the best we have seen - more than 3 million workers. Many employers were worried about less work being done - turns out the problem is the reverse!

14.01.2022 Time to do something for yourself... The last month saw us conducting a lot of programs helping leaders to better lead staff as companies start thinking about bringing people back to the office. One of the common discussions across the sessions was "how can you be expected to look after others if you can't look after yourself?". One of our favourite activities is "3 things for me" - what are 3 things you can do for yourself - just for you - a treat or an indulgence. So what are 3 things you can do for yourself over the weekend?

14.01.2022 We can't wait to watch My Year Of Living Mindfully by health journalist and filmmaker Shannon Harvey (release details on the website). Interesting quote from Shannon in a recent article that is so relevant to today's environment, "mindfulness makes me more comfortable in life's inevitable discomfort."

09.01.2022 MindFit at Work Challenge: This challenge comes from our #happinesshacks program and is a great way to end the week or start the weekend whether you're in lockdown or not! Compliment 3 people with something you appreciate/like/love about them and is especially powerful if you don't know the person. If you know them, it might be some way they have supported you - "I really appreciate how you've supported me over the last couple of weeks". If you don't know them, it might be... something you appreciate/like/love about what they are doing - "thanks for wearing a mask and helping keep us all safe". The examples are limitless!!!!! How did it make you feel? What was the other person's reaction? Love to hear in the comments!

08.01.2022 Great article from Australia's ABC. Key points we would add from our Mental Health Pop-Ups are that you need to remember that you are not the expert and it is not about 'fixing' the other person. It is about really listening to them and helping guide them to seek help from an expert. #workplacementalhealth #mentalhealth #mindfitatwork

08.01.2022 We are seeing some of our clients introduce "Mental Health Days" with great success. Are they proactive? innovative? Not really - they recognise that, especially in today's environment, providing the space to have a "mental health day" along with having open and honest conversations about mental health is just the right way to run a business.

06.01.2022 The 'next normal' continues to be difficult to navigate as people start returning to offices. This is a great article about the experience in Melbourne, Australia and is similar to what we are hearing right across Australia and APAC. No matter what your strategy, staff AND leaders need support.
