20.01.2022 Today is Yin day! What a treat it is to practice Yin Yoga on a regular basis, the cherry on the top for me. Today we work in, slow passive stretches that work deeply on the body, reaching fascia and connective tissues! As the tissue is different to muscle we need to treat it so. It responds best to a slow, steady load. If you gently stretch connective tissue by holding a yin pose for a long time, the body will respond by making them a little longer and strongerwhich is exa...ctly what you want. It’s like a deep tissue massage but with longer lasting results! Thanks to you all sharing your experiences, classes are continuing to grow and I am very grateful! I fall in love with Yoga over and over and Im am blessed to have a space to share with you And a little reminder to try book in a couple of days prior to class as numbers are limited and I hate turning you away, but hey, since all is as it should be, nothing to fuss over . 17.01.2022 Steve is back mid July with his Mens Circles! Conversation is something we can all share, its through conversation that we learn that everyone has a story Mens Circle.... After a short break, were starting up again on Thursday 16 July, and are looking for 4-5 more guys to join us. What is it: Mens Circle, Way of the Awakened Man. What do we do? We get together every 2 weeks to support, discuss, listen, challenge, celebrate, and share our lives as men. Who is it for? Men who want to get a little more purposeful in their lives, to know who they are and what they stand for, who want to have better relationships, face challenges, who know theres more to life than eat, work, sleep, repeat. Our goal is to be the best versions of ourselves we can be, to show up more calm, more grounded, more confident, for ourselves, our kids, our partners, our families, our community.
