My hubby and I are always conflicted about whether to buy land and start a more self sufficient life with space to roam // but really.. how could we leave this? 01.01.2022 I’d like to talk for the Oceans for a minute // Our oceans and the plethora of beautiful species it homes- that are screaming for our help. As our planet warms at an unprecedented rate, so many ancient species are being eradicated // as our ice caps melt and the oceans rise and warm our Coral reefs die and our pacific nations are drowning // as our ocean chokes on our toxic waste the ocean pH gets more acidic by the day and toxicity climbs // each day as we continue to dump... tons of plastic into our oceans the ecosystems start to fail and our food chain is full of toxic chemicals // as our hungry and greedy industry pillage our oceans for too many food sources we lose more and more species // as we stand by and live in a world that allows resources to be pulled out of our ocean floor, that causes devastating effects on our oceans and it’s inhabitants// as our oceans rage in wild storms sending warning signs we stand by and watch - hoping things might change quick enough. Our Mother Blue // our Mother Earth will win this battle one way or another - but these warning signs and the climate crisis that we are living and seeing will not allow us humans a bright future // today, and every day: make good decisions, make change- however small and have meaningful conversations.
