25.01.2022 So excited to share a couple of pics of our little living room extension project. These two large sash windows were salvaged a while back and stored for this moment. Just imagine a beautiful large pendant hanging between them. Soon! Our builder is great at helping us reuse whatever we can, like these weatherboards. #sustainablebuilding #frenchdoors #salvagedbuildingmaterials ... #recycledmaterials #homeproject #houseextensions #sashwindows See more

24.01.2022 Super proud and excited to announce that Mindful Interiors has been appointed as an interior design consultant for the Fantech relocation project. Fantech is an international company whose ethics align with mine in many ways; focusing on collaboration, sustainability and community. As a manufacturer of fans of all types and sizes, expect the interiors to be light and airy. The built has started and I can’t wait to post some more update pics soon!

21.01.2022 Let’s plant trees to celebrate this weeks Earth Day. Love this magnolia’s thick green leaves and their fluffy brown bits. One huggable teddy bear.

18.01.2022 Some beautiful Autumn colours on our walk this morning. Who else is inspired by nature?

18.01.2022 A gloomy day was made so much brighter by a friend who dropped off these beauties for me. A perfect reminder that everything changes. These #peonypoppies stay pretty in the process, can’t wait to sow them and see them grow and bloom! #decoratingwithplants #decoratingwithbooks #peonypoppy ... #deskdecor #cycleoflife See more

15.01.2022 Loving my new kickboard + hidden cupboard door, which makes this simple Ikea kitchen look so much more complete. The kickboard is made from @easycraft.panels. Also a shout out to Matt @mwa_electrical_group for installing these gorgeous oversized pendants. #kitchenislanddecor #kitchenislandlighting #kitchenpeninsula ... #ikeahack #easycraftpanels #kitchenlighting #kitchen #bluetiles See more

15.01.2022 Anotger ISO project . This couch has been in the family for nearly 50 years and is just the comfiest for sitting and napping. Originally bought by my aunt in Amsterdam, then I had it in my first apartment in Poland, then it moved with me to London and now i’s here in Oz. It’s travelled a lot and now it has a new outfit! I did the reupholstery in @mokumstudio @zepelfabrics pegasus tanzania and also stained the timber base. Swipe for before. #diyprojects #diyupholstery #i...soproject #upcycledfurniture #mokumstudio #zepelfabrics See more

12.01.2022 While some are stocking up on toilet paper rolls, we are hoarding second hand bricks for our next outdoor home project - a built-in barbecue. This open wood fireplace of a gargantuan size gets my hubby super excited as it will not only keep us warm in the colder months but we’ll also be able to cook in it all year round...

10.01.2022 It was great to be on site today to discuss window treatments and to see a massive progress in the building work. Yes, this job is not only pretty pictures... #commercialconstruction #workplacedesign #sustainableconstruction ... @ Dandenong South, Victoria See more

07.01.2022 Nothing says cozy like fabric and art. So needed in a place full of tiles. Made another blind and put some sketches up on the wall made by an artist friend in London.

07.01.2022 Feeling like a real renaissance woman. One day I’m cutting the entire family’s hair (yes, we’re still in lockdown), next I’m reupholstering chairs. They had a bit of superficial water damage (I mean the chairs ) easily fixed with a smother of mayo and a new fabric (@warwickfabrics ‘beachcomber forest’) did the trick. Swipe for before. ##homemadeinteriors #upcyclingfurniture #warwickfabrics #greenchair #greendiningchairs #frenchprovincialstyle #frenchprovencial #upholstery #upholsteryfabrics #balloonchair #diyhomedecor #diyprojects

04.01.2022 Generally, I’m a big fan of a ‘dramatic’ entryway, dark walls and heaps of contrast so it took a bit of getting used to when I painted our entry #dulux #casperwhitequarter. However, having added a myriad of textures I guess I’m a convert! Swipe for ‘before’. #entrywaydecor #entrywaytablestyling #duluxpaint #neutraldecor #entrywayideas

04.01.2022 Happy Monday! Another week in isolation and we talk about gratitude a lot. Today I’m grateful for my office nook. It’s my happy place with a monastera plant to keep me company while I try to master SketchUp. #officenook #monasteraplant #stayhomeidistudent #deskorganization

04.01.2022 Because we all need a bit of yellow in our lives at the moment... such a happy colour and one of my favourites. #waterwattle #decoratingwithyellow #springcolours... #sheercurtains #diywindowtreatment #interiordesigners #interiorstylist See more

03.01.2022 Back in Poland Easter is celebrated with many more foods than just chocolate. It’s a feast of eggs boiled in onion skins to give them this beautiful brown colour. We eat ham with horseradish and heaps of baked goods. Whatever you’re feasting on, enjoy it and also the people you’re sharing it with. Happy Easter! #easterbasket #easterwreath #easterdecor

03.01.2022 This was a fun weekend project. We’ve had these - what started as shelves (Ikea Billy) for ages and they are just perfect for storing our old books and photo albums. I added doors but wanted some texture and went with rattan for a beachy vibe. Thanks Chantelle @house.of.bamboo.australia for her patience with my questions as I had never worked with rattan before. I didn’t end up soaking it as it was pliable enough dry, glued it and then added some nice brass knobs. And because they are so straight and organised I wanted to contrast that with a little messy gallery wall. What do you think?

02.01.2022 Working on a a sample board to show a client is so one of the many perks of my job. Fingers crossed verdigris gets a yes! #textureboard #sampleboard #interiordesign... #verdigrispatina See more

01.01.2022 Is it only me or those little diy jobs needing doing are staring in other people’s faces too at the moment. I’ve been making use of some old fabric and sewing blinds for our bathrooms. Not much skill necessary to be honest but a sewing machine would be handy. The blind is double sided so for a quick change you can turn it around and roll it up the other way.

01.01.2022 Yay there’s been some progress on our new bbq area. The pile of bricks is slowly diminishing as the outdoor kitchen is going up. Soon we’re roasting marshmallows!
