25.01.2022 It looks like rain this afternoon and we are lucky enough to have space for an indoor class at 4:30pm. Please book in as numbers are definitely limited for indoor classes. 20.01.2022 A good news story for us all :D Another yoga teacher I know pointed out the great side-plank the arborist does to get the treats to the kitty in order to grab the kitty. Sunday Sunset Yoga in Endeavour Park, Newport on the northern end of the Redcliffe Peninsula Enjoy the fresh air, the sunset the view of the Glasshouse Mountains across the bay, and the puppies happily walking their humans.... This picture was taken in Japan in a shrine in my favourite hiking area but Ill probably be wearing just as many clothes today!

I started my journaling as a simple 3 sentence gratitude journal and found that as it transformed into a stream of thought journal it was more useful for me personally. So if youd like to try it, start it as a written or spoken expression of appreciation and see where it goes from there. Make it work for you. If you dont do it every day, thats fine too. And if you fi...nd it isnt your thing, then keep an eye out for another suggestion that may work better for you. Were all different. Find what works for you

Will update closer to the time but if it splits and goes around the peninsula as usual we may be ok If it rains earlier in the day just bring a tarp for under your mat because we practice on Sandy soil so it’s usually ok on the grass after rain and a jacket - looks like it’ll be a bit cooler than last weekend

05.01.2022 It's always interesting working at the edge of your comfort zone. And finding ways, for me it's yoga and meditation, to best work at that edge. In the past I have had a lot of social and performance anxiety. I am getting better with people I know. In situations with people I don't, I get pre- and post-nerves. Worried about what it will be like, and then over thinking everything I said and did during the interaction. This is still way better than it used to be - just a few hou...rs - 3 years back it would last days, sometimes weeks. So, a couple of days ago when I was asked to share my experience of trying to get an international student visa during covid, I scheduled in some restorative yoga beforehand and some mindful movement and hatha yoga afterwards to take the edge off the nerves. 03.01.2022 It was sad to hear of the recent murder at Joyner, a terrible thing, but I did not know any of the details until this morning. I have since learnt that the wife, Loris, had brought her joy of life and fun to the belly dancing classes run by the lovely Janice a couple of years ago. Rest in Peace Loris and Franco. Our condolences to you and your family. I cannot even imagine what they are going through xx
