21.01.2022 Not sure that we needed the research to tell us this, but good to see they're making it official for everyone else! Not sure we need the study to determine why we're happier. Maybe they want to make a new drug from the chemicals they find in older women so everyone else can be happy too!

21.01.2022 Mindful Menopause: A workshop for women blending wisdom from naturopathy and yoga. It's on again! This workshop came about because women kept asking questions about how to ease their transition into menopause gracefully.... you know, without losing their cool. These women wanted to try non-medication based solutions to help them with challenging symptoms like insomnia, hot flushes, weight gain and low libido. So we started to sharing what we’ve learned from the combined modal...ities of natural medicine and yoga. And this workshop was born. When we started to research this subject, we noticed that lots of the language and imagery was negative, showing women in distress or was focused on selling fear and magic bullet solutions. (We dare you to google menopause and look at the images. It’s not pretty!) We are interested in empowering women, creating community and maybe even having some fun as together we navigate this stage of life. Amongst other things, in this workshop you will: Learn tips and tricks to ease menopause symptoms naturally, including sleep, brain fog and hot flushes Experience a nurturing yin yoga practice, with a focus on hormonal health Learn how to use breathing and mindfulness techniques to ease your transition Connect with others on this path and discover the benefits to this new chapter of your life Explore a nutritional approach (and a delicious afternoon tea) to balance the body and prevent weight gain If this all sounds like your cup of tea, join us! The cost is $70 and the venue is Habitat Space in East Malvern. This event fills up quickly, reserve your spot here: www.mindfulmenopause.com.au Lisa Allwell and Erin Quint x

While many of us suffer through the symptoms of menopause, just remember, you will come out the other side strong and ready to make sure the world doesn't fall apart!
