18.01.2022 Gorgeous Mums - thank you so much for your patience this week! This attitude of mindfulness couldn't be more apt. Starting a business and page in the school holidays is no easy feat. I had every intention on regular posting and a much more active presence online, but alas, it wasn't. Making room for my other job and balancing motherhood unfortunately forced my attention elsewhere. However, this is OK. I allowed for each moment to be as was, even if it wasn't the plan. Thank... you again for your amazing patience! I'm really looking forward to working with you as our routines settle into place for the new school year ahead. Remember.. 18.01.2022 #Attitude 7 So, when all else fails, it may be time to call on the old Frozen soundtrack! Sometimes we work so hard to make the perfect moment (Particularly in an Insta world), the moment comes and goes in it's own imperfectly perfect way! I had my own example of this taking the back to school photo this morning haha! Our memory is not a nice one standing with his bag by the front door, it is a live action snapshot, cricket bat in hand. Just as we were on the cusp of regaining our routines and overcoming the back to school battles, this adds complexities to our already raised states.... Use this opportunity to TAKE PAUSE. This will enable you to be there for your little ones in a patient and present way which is exactly what they need when the world gets a little topsy turvy.. 02.01.2022 Mindfulness Attitude #4 TRUST! This is the big one.. Trust in yourself, your gut and the moment. As we layer each attitude into habit, for many of us the idea of questioning our experiences is too easy to cave in to. By doing this, we immediately leave the moment and look to the past or future, which raises anxious behaviours. When you trust in the moment, you will find an acceptance rising to meet you. With this knowing, you will be exactly where you need to be. 02.01.2022 Attitude #6 ACCEPTANCE.. This can be a challenging one. We all have ideas and plans that may or may not come to fruitition. But I love this one. It's not saying we have to like something, but if we are kind in our thoughts of accepting what is, we can work to release stress and expectation. As mum's one of the most apt sayings is 'The best made plans of mice & men'.. We can be reminded of this 100 times a day. So why let stress steal our joy and happiness. For those of us in ...Perth, we are doing an amazing job of it this week..
