As the awareness becomes... more open and more subtle we naturally can begin to experience "choiceless awareness" This feels like complete openness and clarity, where there is no grasping or aversion, just noticing different perceptions and experiences coming and going. It's one of the sweet spots of mindfulness. It's a sign of an evolving capacity to objectively observe the mind. It's like a beautiful sunset. 16.01.2022 This has been another big year for MINDFULNESS.ORG.AU, and we would like to say a big thank you to all our participants and resource users for your support. Our practical and evidence based mindfulness approach could not have been possible without you! In 2017, we launched our case studies/ vignettes series to help you to better incorporate mindfulness into your daily lives; continued to publish new Public Resources focusing on workplace, anxiety and depression, and carers; i...mproved our courses based on your feedback; and launched our first public retreat. In 2018, we will continue to publish new Resources with a focus on the role Healthcare Professionals play in mindfulness. And after much persuasion and nudges from patients and colleagues, Dr. Walsh will be finishing up his first book on mindfulness. One working title is Not yet another mindfulness book! What do you think of the title? Finally, thank you for those who had emailed in to chase us for the 2018 course dates. This workshop will help you understand the process of mindfully tuning into your emotions and letting go of distortions so that your emotions can function adaptively. This workshop will work in small groups of people in a non-confrontational way, making them feel confident about their unique qualities and character and using this information to help them reflect on their personal limitations, without being judgmental.
