23.01.2022 Simple, but not easy I’m constantly asked to explain mindfulness. The problem is that it is simple, but not easy. In a nutshell, mindfulness is being human. It is being aware of your body, your thoughts and emotions: moment by moment with curiosity and non-judgment. If we think about it, we are rarely aware of our thoughts or sensations. If we stop for a moment and pay attention to what is actually happening at this moment, we would need to focus on our senses. We perceive ...data through our senses. This information is then sent to our brain. We either stay in automation or decide to stop and really be there. Two things here; it is the stopping that is important and the stopping doesn’t happen unless we practice, practice, practice. So it is simple but not easy.
