17.01.2022 What path are you on? To take the path of the heart is the most courageous yet difficult thing that a being will have to do in his life. Surrendering to that power of infinite love can be scary. There is a quote by Paulo Coelho in the alchemist that says You will never be able to escape from your heart. So it's better to listen to what it has to say. Until you really listen to that inner sparks and feeling inside It will get louder and louder. In your heart resides your ...intuition, your powerful source and guidance. To consciously live in that place is a choice of every moment. The fears, the ego, the emotional body, the conditionings are tricky and take their places stealthily if we do not shed light on them in consciousness. Unless we take the time to heal, to shed some layers and be present with our shadows, the mind will always be unconsciously driven by those. The mind without the heart will always be lost. But the mind driven by the heart is a master of creation. What is it for you to live in the heart? Artwork and words Sarah Maq~ Les Esprits Libres @les_esprits_libres

12.01.2022 Exercise for preparing for labour Once you reach your third trimester, it's important that you start to stretch the hips and relax the pelvic floor musculature. We recommend adding pelvic floor stretching to your daily routine in the weeks before your due date. You want to have an awareness of what it feels like to really lengthen and release these muscles you've been working on to strengthen in the previous two trimesters. What to do:... A. Place a yoga block or stack of pillows against the wall of you feel or you can be on on the floor. Stand with your back to the wall with your feet out in front of you. B. Inhale through the nose as you slowly slide down the wall. Exhale a long, slow, even breath out the mouth continuing down the wall, allowing the pelvic floor to fully release until you reach your yoga block/pillows. C. Once down, butterfly your knees open and gently apply pressure just above the knees for an additional stretch. Hold for 90 seconds. Close knees and repeat. Remember to breath and suggested in for four and out for four counts . . . . #prenatalyoga #yoga #movement #body #pelvicfloor . Photo by @aimeelipscombe See more

11.01.2022 Pregnancy tip: During pregnancy especially from 36 weeks onwards it’s a good idea to make sure to always sit upright or supported in your lower back. A even better position is on the fit ball as it gives some feedback to your pelvic floor and extra support. This can reduce the likelihood of your baby shifting into any other position such as posterior or right anterior before labour or delivery. This also keeps your core stabilisers working which helps integrity for postnatal... recovery, back or pelvic pain. We have also announced the prenatal yoga teacher training dates for modules starting module 1 in March. 03.01.2022 It took me a lot longer than I thought to do my first downward dog, with inability to hold my bladder after birth, lack fo sleep, painful cracked nipples to nipple thrush and then a baby with colic. Yet the moment I started meeting myself back on the mat my mind started to get back into my body. I felt Iike I was coming home to myself. The best part was I had my little miracle beside me. This experience has shown my that the fourth trimester for new mothers needs huge amount ...of support, nourishment and connection. Both physically, mentally and spiritually. Both @angea_acupuncture_yoga have some beautiful things to share with you for our post natal yoga TT ‘restore the mother’ were we take this advice from the Eastern traditions in our western culture. We are looking forward to meeting you online and those who need to confirm send your email See more
