We are the smallest club in SLSNT, with 82 members, we pride ourselves on being able to deliver outstanding results on the beach in Life Saving, Water Safety & Surf Sport competition. 23.01.2022 Thankyou to the Darwin Tri club for involving us in your First ( Hopefully of Many) Duathlon’s in our beautiful Fannie Bay.

23.01.2022 40 years since the first pioneers started and the association has only gone from strength to strength since. We want to acknowledge all of our female membership, both the current and former members for their contribution to our dynamic little club over our 30year history.

23.01.2022 The club was a beneficiary of the SLSNT COVID assistance package that each of the NT clubs received this season to assist in its ability to continue to operate. We are pleased to show off a fully reconditioned adjustable single ski that was made available by the use of this SLSNT package. The re inclusion of this ski now brings the clubs total to 6 current shape fully adjustable single skis to assist in the education of surf sports members from beginners- intermediate- Advanced- Elite. This ski has been honored with being named after the clubs only life member Moira Wigley. The club wishes to acknowledge NASS for the work done in getting this ski back to showroom weight & condition, The Moira as it will be known will continue to assist new & intermediate paddlers grow into champions.

Since joining you have been nothing but a champion, assisting patrols, IRB training, water safety for triathlons and all round legend helping where ever needed. A definitely a MVP! 13.01.2022 As 2020 & this decade wraps up, we thought what better time then now to look at some of our club’s achievements over the past ten years. Probably the most significant recent success fir our club has had aside from Winning the 2014 North Australian IRB championships & Champion club in Mackay Qld was at the 2018 Life Saving World Championships in Glenelg SA. Mindil can and does proudly boast an amazing group of athletes but also is the only NT club to win not just 1 but 4 World Championships medals.

09.01.2022 Team that train together win together. Congrats Sirko ( Gordon Shamway) & Erica Portillo on taking out the over series wins for senior & Junior categories respectively. SLSNT decided not to award male & female for the classes. But if it was Lee Harrop would of won the senior female class. To the rest of our members that competed congrats on representing the club so well and continuing to boast of our surf sports program that shine as the best in the NT.

05.01.2022 Wow seems like a long time ago that official competition took place, but the proof is in the pudding as they say, very proud of our young Lady Gabi giving a little round up about what Nippers has meant to her at the club. In 2021 Mindil Beach Surf Life Saving club is very active in Nippers & juniors so if you are looking for a competitive edge with a great group of people contact the club today.

We need water safety Contact Luke Marcroft & club of your availability for Sunday morning. We need 4-5 members from 0645am to 0800am to provide water safety for the event. We also need members for our afternoon patrol. 2pm-6pm
