Sure, this may make the idea of shopping for lipstick and skin creams sound trivial but get this: Not only are women paid less, they’re charged more, too. From T-shirts to shampoo, it’s common practice to hike up the prices on female items versus the male equivalent, to the tune of 8 percent more for adult clothing. There’s never been a better time than now to shop more consciously and make a stand with your spending. Most of us reflect on them often, imagining and wishing they could become reality. More often than not, we sit on our couches in our pyjamas daydreaming and then formulating reasons to keep those dreams just that: dreams.... Here’s the thing: it’s never too late to start chasing dreams. You are never too much or too little of anything. 06.01.2022 The question I often get asked the most is, how do I instil self confidence in my children? For me, I instil self confidence by encouraging them to try new things and to believe they can do anything they put their minds to. By doing this, I feel I will purposefully lay the foundations for confidence in their adulthood years.

When is the last time you did something just because it made you feel good? Whether that’s partaking in a hobby, travelling somewhere you’ve always wanted to go, or simply relaxing outside on a sunny day? Chances are, it’s been a while. Women have a habit of neglecting the things they want to do in favor of th...e things they have to do. In reality, a balanced life needs healthy measures of both. It’s tough to argue against the value of sleeping well, liking yourself, and enjoying life. And at the end of the day, that’s what self-care is really about.
