20.01.2022 Being able to use Emotional Intelligence and recognise how to deal with not only your emotions, but those of others is a high- level leadership skill. In 2002 Anthony fought in Townsville against Brad Mayo. The crowd was with the local Mayo and giving Anthony a hard time with explicit language and crowd chants against The Man. How Anthony dealt with this silenced the crowd and put the fight into his favour. His right arm tapped in the air in what would be the rhythm of the ...crowds chanting (whilst still jabbing with the other hand). Realising he was playing their game; the crowd's attempt to hinder Anthony fizzled out when they realised he was playing to their game. Anthony would eventually win the fight. He was controlling the negative emotions of the crowd to give him a physical and psychological advantage in the ring. #mindsetofachamp #worldchampmindset #emotionalintelligence
