22.01.2022 It’s not what you say - it’s what you Do A lovely bubbly woman called me she had asked me to help her with her teenager Daughter, What is the issue I have aske...d? My Daughter is very Angry and not getting out of her room much, and during the Coronavirus it becomes worse. Me: ok and where in your life are you Angry ? Well I sometimes during driving will have anger or when my business ain’t moving much i will get frustrated. Me: Does your Daughter see you when u are frustrated on the road and when you not getting your business going? The lovely lady: Yes, my daughter actually ask me when I will hand over the project that I been working on. Our kids watch what we are doing Not what we are Saying As parents we will do everything for our children, counselling, psychologist, psychiatrist,diagnosis, even giving them pills just to calm them down but Do we take care of ourselves? 18.01.2022 Our Relationship with: Ourselves partner ... our children Our parents and siblings our friends our job ( even the occupation we choose) Its all Based on our Past To progress in life we need to pay attention and Resolve Issues that we carry from our PAST To have a Great Relationship with our presence self. 15.01.2022 Lets talk about Anger There could be a number of reasons why you might start to develop an anger problem, it could be that you are a highly anxious person ...who gets upset when you arent able to control life situations or you were never allowed to express your negative emotions when you were growing up, I can tell you through my own life experience as a child and with seeing clients as well, We were never allowed to express any feelings let alone Negative emotions. If you are someone who finds it hard to say No and set the boundaries or speak your mind that is another form of repressing emotions. Anger isnt the problem- when you become angry or Frustrated that actually tells you that something needs to be addressed. If you dont address the problem and swap it under the carpet, your unresolved emotions about the situation will turn into anger. Today I had a session with a lovely client he told me that what he does for a job define him as a human being and he isnt ha...ppy with his occupation at all and on top of it he doesnt have a degree while the majority of people he hangs with got high degrees in university and he feel less than them as that was his perception I had understood where his thinking comes from, work defines status in our society, but we dont have to be something to be important, we as a society need to learn to see the value in others for who they are - not what they do. Our self identity needs to be about our potential and qualities as a Human being : Are we good mother, father, friend, son, daughter, brother, sister, partner, Do we treat others with Respect? Our self identity should be defined as who we are as individuals- what we do for work is only a piece of our lives. You may lose your job one day but you will still be YOU that person with same interests goals and passions with or without that job title keep shining your light and define yourself as who you are as individuals See more
