11.01.2022 Christmas is just a few hours away and it’s now very different to what we thought it would be For some there will be disappointed and sadness which is ok For some it will be relief which is ok... For others it will bring excitement It’s ok to have whatever emotion you feel. Let it sit there for a little while then give yourself permission to move through it Tomorrow will be whatever you want it to be, you can make that choice I choose to enjoy the excitement, be grateful that we can see family close by and appreciate that we can see family who are far away on FaceTime Christmas is my favourite time of year, you never know who won’t be at the table next year so make the most of it I hope you and your family have a wonderfully safe festive holidays How do you choose to feel tomorrow? 08.01.2022 As I sit here on Friday night - at home and not at the Christmas party I was supposed to be at, I am reminded how life can change quickly 2020 was my year for growth and I have grown in so many different ways than I could have imagined. I thought I would grow my business which has happened I have grown as a person, I am finding myself and loving who I am becoming As a child I was not resilient, I crumbled easily and relied on those around me to help me through the ups and dow...ns growing up brings Over the past 10 years I have had some wonderful highs and some lows that I don't wish on anyone. I have learned to allow myself to feel my emotions and it has taken time for me to realise that I am strong enough, brave enough and resilient enough to get up again and keep going Sometimes you just need to listen to that voice in your head, that story your telling yourself and that belief you have had forever - and think Is it really true? Often its not As we stay home for 3 days to help protect our community and many peoples livelihood please make some time for yourself. Have a bath Read a book Do some gardening (if that's what you enjoy) Sleep in - you have no where to be Watch a movie Spend time with your family Breathe deeply Breathe fully Look for something to be grateful for Love yourself Keep safe everyone Mel
