25.01.2022 I have been pushing myself completely out of my comfort zone for a while now but it's not easy but every time I do it, my confidence builds. The one important thing to remember is that when you commit to doing something that requires courage - you need to move and do it immediately. No hesitation. When you hesitate, you send a message to your brain that there is trouble and... you’ll start talking yourself out of it. 12.01.2022 I just had one of those experiences and it was tough, it was emotional and it was scary as hell but I am still here. Luckily with my health and family intact. It's how you look at the situation that determines how you get through it. Either you look for the opportunity or the failure and the one you choose is the one you will get. Sometimes the signs have been there all along - "get out", "change jobs", "follow your dreams" but all these fears, excuses, reasons hold us ba...ck. There storm has cleared a path for you. You're in a state of physical, emotional and mental exhaustion. Look at some of the possible causes - ... - Lack of control - lack of resources, overload at work, your schedule, assignments or projects. - Unclear expectations - what others expect from you, if you're not comfortable with the work or project or you're unclear about your authority - Dysfunctional workplace situation - bullying, being undermined by manager or colleague, micromanaging manager - These really add to the STRESS. - Lack of social support - feeling isolated at work or personal life - Work life imbalance Take the time to evaluate your options because pushing yourself to the point of burnout can be so detrimental to your health - Ask me I know I would love to here your thoughts, comments and feedback. #MindVenture #self #burnout
