20.01.2022 Tuesday Tip! This picture reminds me of comfort zones and how they impact our workouts. Only we know how hard we are truly working in every session, and at the end of your workouts are you walking away thinking "wow I worked really hard", or "I could have done more". I always ask my clients how hard they are working out of 10. So 1/10 is really really easy, whereas 9/10 is really tough. So the next time you are working out, ask yourself how you feel out of 10. This will help you push outside your comfort zone:) Mind Your Fitness can help you get the best out of your workouts. For more info please email us: [email protected]

10.01.2022 I just love this!! Its all about the balance:)

09.01.2022 TUESDAY TIP! Weight Training gets results! Today one of my clients advised me that her Osteopath wanted to thank me! My client has been training with me since March 2012, and since then the structure and strength of her body has changed and improved so much that a fortnightly visit to the osteo is now every 8 weeks! The key to my clients results is a total body approach in her training program, which includes a combination of weight training and cardio. She has also achieved excellent weight loss results, and feels strong, toned and sexy! On average, woman who trains with weights 2-3 times per week for 8 weeks can expect to gain about 1kg of muscle and lose about 1.5kg of fat. 1 kg of fat takes up about 4 times as much space as 1kg of muscle. (hence why the more muscle you have the more fat you burn)

04.01.2022 TUESDAY TIP! How to pick a winner!! When looking for a personal trainer, what is it that you need to consider to ensure you have picked the right trainer for you? Here are some quick tips to consider:... *ENSURE YOUR TRAINER HAS ALL THE RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS AND FIRST AID *PERSONALITY TYPE - you can usually see trainers at the gym or running outdoor group sessions, so this can also give you an idea of what they are like. *TESTIMONIALS - checkout what other clients are saying about the trainer, and what results they have achieved. *INCLUSIONS - what's included in the price. A good trainer will provide you with a fitness assessment and take your measurements, to then re-assess you after a period of time to monitor results and track your progress. And, most trainers will offer you a free trial session for you to try before you buy. This is a great way to get an insight on how you well you work together. :)
