24.01.2022 Hello my lovely creative friends! I hope you are all keeping well over our extended break from classes? Our classmate, Les, is a continual motivation for us all to keep creating, recently drawing this gorgeous still life from home using objects in her immediate surroundings. The colour, pattern and form are an absolute delight to behold! Les really loves her watercolour pencils....and I think you will agree she is mastering the lovely balance between wet and dry areas in this artwork? And isn't that checkered tablecloth divine!? Keep creating guys!! I love to see your works! Hopefully we can be together again soon? xx

16.01.2022 Wendy has been enjoying the beautiful rosellas sitting on the backyard fence. How clever is Mother Nature’s colour palette? Love to everyone from Wendy This artwork uses oil crayons and watercolour paints scratched into with a palette knife. Stay creative everyone and keep sending us your artworks! They are so inspiring!

14.01.2022 Wendy is missing you all and we all miss your joyous indulgence in colour too Wendy xx

12.01.2022 We received a lovely message and artwork from Wendy this week "The rainbow lorikeets have been feasting in my red bottlebrush tree and I just love their aerobatics. Hope everyone is well and still creating wonderful artworks." Thanks Wendy, so glad to see that you are still creating beautiful artworks and enjoying the nature around you. I am missing everyone too and hope you are all well?

11.01.2022 Hello art lovers Today we have another beautiful artwork to inspire you! This watercolour still life is from Heather, creating from home, and was accompanied by this lovely message: Hello Anne, i hope all is going well for you and your family. It’s been lovely to see everyone’s art projects while away from class. I hadn’t felt inspired to put paint to paper until last week. This is my attempt at some water colour. The finished piece is rudimentary and not nearly as good as when I’m under your expert instruction. xx Heather Thanks Heather, and please make some more!! We love to see them xx

09.01.2022 Hello art loversNot long now? Who has been painting or drawing at home? Les has been drawing her daughter Hannah’s dog. The media used is watercolour pencils on paper. Les really knows how to get that rich intensity of colour and to let the water flow and pool. What a delight to have this gorgeous photo and a lovely message from Les in my messages today! Let’s hope we can all catch up again soon x
