25.01.2022 Yesterday marked the 66th anniversary of one of Queensland’s worst mine disasters, where seven workers sadly lost their lives in an explosion at the Collinsville mine. A memorial service is held in Collinsville every year to pay tribute and remember who didn’t return home from work that day. Check out the article published in the Australasian Mine Safety Journal which includes survivors’ accounts of the incident.
