25.01.2022 #MingaraLifesaving // Starting this Sunday 16th May we are expanding our squad to include older pool rescuers. Senior Training will be athlete lead by national... and state rep athletes at 8:am Junior Training will be coached by Tom Simpson our Lifesaving lead coach from 8:45 am What is the difference? The senior session is for people who have years of experience in pool rescue and are able to self correct all pool rescue skills. The Junior session provides one on one support within a squad environment to develop your pool rescue skills. if you are interested in attending please contact us via messenger or email at [email protected]

20.01.2022 Congratulations to Ava who received her bronze medal in the National State Age Challenge at Mingara Aquatics on Monday night. Ava was ranked 3rd overall in the challenge for 50 fly.

08.01.2022 Hi everyone, Earlier today, the NSW Premier announced the tightening of restrictions for Greater Sydney from midday today until 12.01am Monday, 10 May, including Wollongong, Central Coast and Blue Mountains. This is obviously disappointing news, but the government does hope the three day restrictions will help reduce the risk of a super spreading event.... The committee has met this evening to discuss the impact of the restrictions announced today and in considering the requirements of Mingara it has been decided that swim club will not be held tomorrow night. We are sorry to have to make this decision as we know the people will be disappointed but with such short notice we were not able to make the appropriate arrangements. We will monitor the situation and will endeavor to be ready for all future club nights Regards David
