24.01.2022 Woweee!! Yesterday The Mingenew Sports Club had its first of a few busy bees to give the old girl a new lease on life. The committee are determined to make 'The Club' the place to be for all members old and new. It was a long day with our crew working from 9.30am- 5.30pm (1 committee member even popped back this morning to get a bit more done). We are so happy with the progress. We still have bits and pieces to finish off and if you want to help out please let us know as we ...are definitely open to volunteers. A massive thank you to Jo Hawksley for bringing all the Mingenew Bowls and Golf club trophies back to life with some serious spit, polish and elbow grease. I'm sure both clubs will be stoked to see their memories looking the goods. Kirsty has hit the shops and purchased some fun games to keep the kidlets entertained while their parents are enjoying a few ales. Keep your eyes open for function updates and opening times on Facebook and in the Mingenew matters. We will also be using email as soon as we get our list updated. See more

18.01.2022 Updated Club Hours Open: Fri + Sat: 5pm-late Due to both economic climate and the uncertainty around Covid-19, the club will be open Fri + Sat only. For the past 3 months Thursday’s + Sunday’s have been very quiet, therefore we feel reducing opening hours to be beneficial for the club. We are implementing a more stringent cleaning process, encourage the use of contactless card and strongly encourage anyone feeling ill to remain at home. Claudine will be working on takeaway m...eals with the possibility of delivery! Our town is greatly reliant on the ‘on’ season to support the ‘off’ season. Due to Covid-19 it’s looking like our ‘on’ season will be subdued this year. We encourage you all to support local and keep your faith. Be kind to one another, be kind to yourselves. 13.01.2022 We had the pleasure of hosting the Shire of Mingenew council and staff Christmas party last night. The club looked lovely. The guests were treated to a yummy buffet from Mingenew Roadhouse . There was bare foot bowls, cold drinks and plenty of laughs. You too can book a function with us. The venue is free of charge for members private functions.

The team was made up of Michelle Bagley, Marguerite Pearce, Sue Greaves, Vikki Criddle and Rhonda Johns. Thinking we are going to need to add another shelf for your lovely trophy.
