23.01.2022 It feels like a lot has been cancelled this year but CHRISTMAS hasn’t! Even if it looks abit different it will still happen, presents will be opened, food will be eaten and the nativity will still be watched even if it’s online. Super family friendly #minikinmusic #nativity

23.01.2022 Ok ready to play Vets? Collect all your animals, doesnt matter if they are plastic or cuddly. Collect bowls for food and water (you could tear up brown paper or use wool) also find some blankets to keep them warm. 23.01.2022 Hello Minikin and Babykin Music Families, This was our first ever social media pic in 2012. So fresh faced even though we were surrounded by toddlers of our own back then. Trac and I came together as business partners not even knowing each other and quickly, through using our strengths and combined work ethic we formed a small business called Minikin Music. A few years later we formed Babykin Music. 2 strangers starting a small business in Manly and 12 years later we are sti...ll loyal friends and business partners. For those who dont know, where we hold our classes at St Matts in Manly, has been under renovation for some time. St Matts have decided to close to the public for all of term 3. What that means for Minikin and Babykin Music is that we will RETURN to Manly in TERM 4. We are grateful to be able to return in a new sparkly space for our Northern Beaches families. While its not ideal and we would love to be seeing you all even if we are not as fresh faced as our first social media pic 8yrs ago. Xxxx We will stay in touch.... Love Trac and Elle

22.01.2022 School holidays are over and the boys are back at school!!!!! We as a family went back to church this weekend, it was so good to be in the building again. The keys for the Darley Rd building were handed over on Monday and the courtyard/playground is due to be finished on the 28th Feb. This hopefully means we will be back in March!!!! It’s been so long, too long!!!! Can’t wait to bring life back into St Matthews church, seeing your children singing and dancing and running around the courtyard after class! 21.01.2022 This week we will be exploring butterflies. I would often choose an idea and run with it for the week when my boys were young. Sometimes it would be from something they had shown interest in or I would come up with an idea. Try and get to the library this week and choose some stories about butterflies, show them videos about butterflies and go on a butterfly hunt. My favourite place to go is Stony Range Botanical Gardens, Dee Why. Its got lovely walking tracks. 20.01.2022 You may be wondering what Ellen and I have been up too over the last couple of months....well Ellen’s been busy setting up and running a pop up shop in One Mile Beach called @onemilecollective. We are heading up to Scotts head this week so stopped by to say hello We usually see each other ALL the time because of work so this year has felt super strange not to see this face!!!! Was so good to catch up yesterday. I been keeping busy volunteering at the Red Cross Shop in Manly. If you know me well you would know that I love second hand clothes, giving new life to people’s old items. I’ve loved getting to know the other volunteers and seeing what comes in and how the charity works. Planned to only volunteer for term 4 but I’ve loved it way too much #minikinmusic #babykinmusic #onemilecollective #redcrossmanly

19.01.2022 Did anyone else feel like the weekend went super fast? I took my younger boys to the zoo on Saturday which was so much fun. Yesterday I spent about 8hrs Christmas shopping! Trying to get organised So this week we will be continuing to explore toilet rolls as there’s just so many ideas. 17.01.2022 THE WALL!!! My younger 2 boys share a room and in lockdown they wanted to move units as they were desperate for their own space and TOTALLY over each other. So I created The Wall Its actually been amazing, all the toys are now stored away, Ive labelled all the boxes to encourage reading and they now feel like theyve got their own room. Buy a few large boxes and separate and divide up the toys equally into each box. Then bring one box out per week. This year we were meant to go to the Gold Coast but of course that got cancelled. So we ended up going to One Mile Beach, Forster, Crescent Head and Scotts Head.
