22.01.2022 Friday, September 11th 2020 at Mudgee Hello to you, and all the Mud loving Students. As you may know were are very excited to be bringing our Mini Muddies Schools only Viking theme to Mudgee in just over 6 weeks time. However, we have been in... regular talks with the hosting venue regarding the conditions in the area especially with the unfortunate devastating bush fires that have ravished towns across NSW and Australia. And for that reason we have all agreed for the benefit of all parties, especially the Student participants to postpone the event until Friday, September 11th, 2020. SAME TIME AND VENUE! The bush fire danger rating in the region remains high and the safety of participants and staff is our priority. Although we have seen some recent rain, we also feel with the continued risk of fires and water restrictions (although Bunnamagoo has its own bores) in place across the region and many parts of the state still experiencing ongoing drought - the region needs time to recover. This will allow for more rain to help fill the dams over the Winter months, plus have cooler and more comfortable temperatures for you and your School Warriors to do battle on the day of the event. Nothing else changes except the date! You will still have to take on the Giant Insane Inflatable Gauntlet, over 50 Obstacles, Mud pits and Viking challenges across 6-8ks of awesome terrain, in the magnificent Bunnamugoo Estate vineyard! Organising your Teams- You will now have some extra time to either add to your Team list or gather your Teams, book Buses and maybe even plan a 6 week Physical Preparation Training program for the NEW date of Friday, September 11th 2020. Please inform us via email if you are adding to you School Team numbers as soon as you know, this will help massively for us with regard to logistics on the day! We truly hope you can join us on the NEW date for this Epic day and for the first time this event has been hosted in the Mudgee region. Our goal is to provide the best memorable experience for all of our participants and we apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you all there in your Viking outfits in September. 06.01.2022 Hi, we hope you, your family and students are all well and keeping safe! COVID-19 pandemic continues to cause havoc and in particular the recent resurgence of the virus in Victoria, Queensland and NSW, again has further directly impacted mass participation events, gatherings and sporting events to name a few. Following consultation with the hosting vineyard, their Head Office in Darwin and more importantly, guidance from the Australian government and local authorities, the up...coming Mini Muddies Viking themed, obstacle event scheduled for Mudgee on Friday, September 11th is postponed... but with a NEW 2021 date already set! THIS IS ONLY A POSTPONEMENT. We will have our muddy awesome day in Valhalla! And thanks to the immediate response and fantastic co-operation of management at Bunnamagoo Estate to host this event for the first time ever in Mudgee, and provide us all something positive to look forward to in 2021. We have already locked in a NEW date of Friday 26th March, 2021. We have re-booked the entertainment, giant Inflatables, buses, medical support etc and will plan for more mud and more obstacles than ever before! Please stick with us, there will be a Muddy Great Day Out in 2021! We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your patience and understanding, as well as our genuine disappointment in having to postpone this event. These decisions are hard to make but in accordance with our safety policies, and in the best interest of you, the students, our staff and the wider community, this is necessary.
