14.01.2022 Mining Comms Solutions was back at Strandline Resources Coburn Village this week installing and provisioning set top boxes for another 80 rooms to complete stage one for our client Swift media.

07.01.2022 We finished our Ubiquiti Building to Building Bridge install for the team at Ever Nimble for their client in Bibra Lakes. It was a time consuming install but we managed to get it finished and connected for the Ever Nimble techs to configure and manage.

03.12.2021 A busy week for Mining Comms Solutions as we were back to Coburn Village to install 3 roof mounted Telstra Satellite dishes for Strandline Resources. It was hot and windy but the job was completed on time and on budget.

23.11.2021 Latest job completed for Telstra International, 96 Ethernet tie cables installed, tested and labelled.

08.11.2021 A satellite dish installation for FTA TV channels along with installing the Ikusi head end and server. We then installed and provisioned 100 set top boxes for on demand movies and TV for our client Swift Media at Coburn Village.

20.10.2021 We were asked to design and install a network that would cover the two houses and the stables, they were running off a 4g service with speeds around 17/2Mbs. We installed a Mikrotik 4g router on the roof to improve the speeds and then two Point to Point links. Two Unifi APs were installed in each house and one Unifi external AP in the sables for fantastic WiFi coverage.... With one SSID across all three areas the devices will always stay connected. The speeds are now around 100/40Mbs across all three areas, with the solar panels now being able to be to the WiFi for monitoring. All cabling installed to ACMA standards and fully tested with a JDSU ONX-580.

11.10.2021 Up at Gudai-Darri Village (Koodaideri) finishing off the final stage of the VES (Village Entertainment System) Connecting up the central facilities TVs with new ONTs and power supplies and doing the SAT (Site Acceptance Test) for the new camp for our client Swift Media.

08.10.2021 An office cabling job completed today for the team at Ever Nimble. With cabling being run over the carpet and the people at the back of the room being hard to hear on a Microsoft Teams call we installed two extra ceiling mounted microphones and installed all the cabling in the roof space and connected the TV for free to air channels.

01.10.2021 Installation of Ubiquiti access points and POE switches in some of Ausco's refurbished dongas ready for their next deployment in a couple of weeks.
