10.01.2022 As someone who is usually up with the sunrise or shortly thereafter, with my hubby taking some time off work, I’ve gotten into the habit this week of sleeping until 8am! I always love snuggling in this bed at night, but the luxury or sleeping so late has been wonderful. Many people disregard their bedrooms when decorating their homes and we certainly left ours until one of the last, but now I realise the importance of having a beautiful place to surrender to much needed sl...umber. We removed our television, have only the softest colour palette, and invested in blockout curtains. 05.01.2022 So many people comment to me that they could never keep chickens because they’re too much work. Nothing could be further from the truth! Others say that their yard is too small. Two chickens can be kept in a small run and be perfectly happy. There’s something about a garden, a suburban back yard, or a large property like ours that changes with chickens. It comes alive!
