This was one of those days where we were on site during a weekend (one of many!) and brought the kids along with all their accessories to keep them entertained. This year has been tough and rattling the tins and selling badges is hard for members to do. By buying these bars you will be helping Veterans raise much needed funds. 13.01.2022 What a marathon this year has been. We’ve always said that running a business is like riding a roller coaster but this year has been an exceptionally rocky ride to say the least. March 2020 feels like ten lifetimes ago. While our business looks very different now to what it did then, we are so very grateful that it is STILL going, and going strong.... We owe this to our hard working wholesale customers who have stayed the course 24/7, supporting their local suppliers. They sweat as much blood and tears as we have, and they’ve fought like hell this year. Much respect. We owe this to our suppliers who have bended and stretched to accomodate our changing needs in order to continue support us and see us through. We owe this to you, the Aussie’s who have continued to value local, support and shop local amidst your own uncertainties. And we owe this to our amazing, dedicated and professional team; past and present. There are no words sufficient enough to express how much we value our people and their approach to what has been a rough ride. While the ride may not quite be over yet, they know we’ve got their backs and we know they’ve got ours. And that’s a pretty good spot to be sitting in right now. 11.01.2022 If you’re someone who knows Drew personally, you’ve probably heard a story or three about his time spent in the Army Reserve. Between 2002 - 2015, Drew dedicated much of his time being a member of the Australian Defence Force within an Armored Core Regiment. Retiring in 2015 as a Lance Corporal to focus further on growing The Ministry of Chocolate, Drew has worked with other service members to support their own. Accepting a seat as a board Member of Hawthorn RSL Sub Branch ...in early 2019, Drew is now committed to supporting Returned Service Members that are suffering from conflict service while overseas. This sub branch is 100% volunteer run with ALL funds raised going direct to support veterans in need. By buying our milk and dark Remembrance Day bars you will be helping raise much needed funds.
