11.01.2022 Plastic vs wooden animals I’ve seen a couple posts pop up in Facebook groups lately about whether to choose plastic or wooden to start an animal collection. You know all of us at MiniZoo are all for mixing brands, and that includes mixing wooden and plastic! The plastic animals are of course our most popular choice. Choosing these figures means you get the most realistic animals, the biggest range and the ability to use them in all sorts of ways: messy sensory play, bathti...me play, outdoor play etc. without needing to worry about them breaking or becoming damaged. The wooden animals are certainly nice for display purposes, and kids love playing with them too. There’s also the added bonus that they are made of a natural material. So what’s your vote? Do you have a mix of wooden and plastic? Or is there one type you prefer over the other?
