25.01.2022 Things have been a bit quiet over winter but we have been working away with associated clubs to develop the design. Representatives of clubs will be available on the day to discuss the proposal. More details will follow once a COVID plan is in place.

23.01.2022 Benno and Leigh had a busy day at the oval measuring out the proposed building plan and location of tennis/netball courts for tomorrow’s information day. The aim of providing our oval based sporting clubs, groups and surrounding community a facility that we can call our own is slowly coming to fruition with your help. The deadline for the grant is drawing closer and it is important that we can match dollar for dollar. Remember, the more we can raise, the quicker we will be able to achieve our goals. 21.01.2022 These are the concept plans for the new facility. The building will be located next to the existing change rooms and have frontages your the oval and proposed courts area. A small enclosed playground is also part of the plan. We welcome your feedback on these ideas.

18.01.2022 A big thank you to everyone that came out today to support the community launch. We estimate that there were around 150 people at the event. Thankyou to the local community groups that attended: minlaton hockey club, minlaton cricket club, CMS Crows, Minlaton tennis club, Show society and other community members associated with the project. Thankyou to Ali Bogle, principal of Minlaton District School, and Fraser Ellis MP for supporting todays launch. Thankyou to Minlaton Foodland who provided the sausages for the bbq and to Minlaton cricket club for running the canteen and bbq with support from the tennis club. Stay tuned for further updates.

15.01.2022 The countdown is on!!! Our local community members that are busy organising the grant are hard at it!! The amount of work that goes into this process is phenomenal and it's a credit to the level of dedication our volunteers are providing. Our barometre is steadily creeping up and we are nearing our Stage 1 target!! The generosity of our community is wonderful and we feel our target is definitely in sight. 13.01.2022 This is is on tomorrow. The plans are all marked out on the ground and you will be able to discuss with the committee. This is a COVID safe event. A sign in sheet will be at the oval and hand sanitizer provided on the day. We would love to see you there.

So many great conversations providing a greater understanding of the development and what we are striving to achieve. 10.01.2022 Fundraising is in full swing!!! Hopefully you will see some large barometres around our town in the next few days and will be able to easily follow our progress. We are applying for a grant that closes on the 27th January. This is a large grant and will match dollar for dollar all monies raised. This means that the more money raised the quicker all three stages of the project will proceed. 09.01.2022 We are getting near the pointy end!! The Office of Recreation Sport and racing grant closes on the 27th January, so all donations and pledges need to be finalised by Monday 25th January at the latest. This will give our amazing grant writers time to add the essential details. We can only apply if we have the funds to match them dollar for dollar!! Due to the incredible effort of so many generous people and businesses so far, we are 75% of the way to stage 1!!!!
