08.01.2022 We are very excited to announce that our library has been shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious LGA Jim Crawford Award which recognises innovation in libraries. Our application focussed on our Online StoryTime project which saw us create 120+ online stories and shows last year during the height of the COVID 19 impact on SA. As well as being a prestigious award, the Jim Crawford Award also comes with a $10k prize. Massive thanks to our core team at the School and all of the school and community volunteer readers who made this possible. Candy will be attending the awards ceremony next Thursday evening in the city. Wish us luck!

03.01.2022 Last night I had the pleasure of attending the LGA Awards ceremony where our library was in the running for the Jim Crawford Award. This award recognises innovation in libraries and our Minlaton Storytime videos were nominated. We made the final five and the competition was very stiff. Although we did not win I was extremely proud to receive a certificate of Commendation.
