24.01.2022 Last week, we asked our staff and customers to donate tips to funnel to those affected by the fires. We also decided to contribute Saturday’s coffee sales. Yesterday we, along with Chris fro The Yoga Hut Community went down to Lake Conjola, and spoke to the local coordinate the recovery, Peter. He informed us the best way to help would be to give money to those individuals in need. We gave our money directly to two businesses affected, both of whom lost their homes. One of th...e buisnesses is Tilly & Mo. and they are still there, working and helping in the rebuild. We also purchased some supermarket gift cards from Milton IGA Plus Liquor for distribution so locals can buy what they need. The money you guys gave went directly to people doing it tough, and immediately. We are encouraging people, if they wish to donate, do it directly, visit the communities and speak to the coordinator. They will identify who needs it most. There are other communities like Conjola with real loss, that need help. Thank you to all those who gave, let’s start the ball rolling on getting funds to those who need it most right now. See more

20.01.2022 We’ve got a massive weekend coming up for Kiama Jazz & Blues festival. Saturday 12 - 2 we have a fantastic trio from the Blue Mountains, Jazz Daiquiri joining us. There are very limited places available for lunch and bookings are essential. Sunday, PearlNoire duo will be joining us for some soulful sounds, and we are pretty full up. 14.01.2022 Covid-19 ease of restriction update As many of you would have heard, the Government will move to stage 1 of its easing of restrictions on Friday. Stage 1 allows cafes and restaurants to open to the public with a maximum of 10 people inside. Opening in this configuration is not viable for us, for logistic reasons, and ensuring your safety, and the safety of our staff. To operate in our current configuration of serving people through the windows, and to also allow the small amo...unt of people inside the cafe would prove very difficult, and it’s under careful consideration that we, like many other local cafes and restaurant’s, have decided to wait until stage 2 of the restrictions being lifted at which point we can revert back to our original setup. 14.01.2022 COVID-19 update With the situation so dynamic and changing every day, the minnamurra cafe is doing everything we can to keep you safe and still provide you with the service that you are accustomed too. In accordance with the federal government requirements, announced this afternoon, the cafe has taken steps to ensure we comply with these new social distancing guidelines. Our indoor seating is now limited, and we ask that you understand this is designed to prevent further spre...ad of this insidious virus. As mentioned in our previous post, we will now be providing our entire menu takeaway. We ask that our customers understand that these changes take some adapting to, and whilst we have been, and will continue to do our best, there might be slightly longer wait times, or an inability to get a seat immediately. We wouldn’t be here and our staff couldn’t have returned to work if wasn’t for you and we thank you sincerely from the bottom of our hearts. 08.01.2022 Covid 19 update Last night the national cabinet announced further measures to curb the spread of covid 19, and these now include a nation wide ban on dine in service at cafes and restaurants. We will still be opened and will provide our entire menu as takeaway only. These are trying times, and your support will allow us to keep coming to work, keep employing our staff who rely on their jobs to survive, but more importantly keep some sense of normality. In the coming days we will be implementing a delivery service for those that are unable to get to the cafe to pick up their order, as well as a selection of ready-to-heat options. 04.01.2022 Minnamurra Cafe COVID-19 update As everyone is aware, Australia and the world are being affected in a way we have never seen or imagined, and as such we wanted to share with you the steps we are taking to ensure your safety. We want to see life carry on as normal as possible and would like you to still get out and about and enjoy the things you love to do. As per usual, our cleaning schedule is fastidious, and we will ensure to disinfect tables and surfaces regularly, as well... as door handles and bathrooms. Our commercial dishwasher is hospital grade, and all plates and cutlery go through this. There is hand sanitiser available at the register, and as always, contactless card payments attract no surcharge. Supporting small business during these trying times is integral for our survival, and the continued employment of our local staff and locals we source our products from. We will welcome you back into the cafe, albeit with some restrictions. 15 inside and 10 outside!
