24.01.2022 Zavier a 4yo wb geld having his first day long raining outside of round yard, this horse has come with a few trust issues and we are slowly working on getting h...is trust where by he doesnt want to flee from everything that worries him. 23.01.2022 This is Summer a 14.2hh 4yo mare she has been here for two weeks at Minnamurra Park she was green broken when she arrived with a few forward issues and social p...roblems with other horses, Ive been working on gaining her confidence and giving here clear signals she is now working in a nice round frame and staying forward I will continue with this work for the next couple of weeks and start exposing her to other environments so that her young rider can continue on with her under my guidance to further her education.. 22.01.2022 Bondi is coming along nice in his breaking and training going into week 5 he is working nice and calmly on the arena and had a couple of rides around the tracks..., yesterday he was introduced to some trot poles for something different, he was bit awkward at first but was quick to work them out. 20.01.2022 Minnamurra Park would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. We in all had a successful 2015 with business impoving with us getting some nice breakers and horses to work with, our students made a steady improvement and have been able to go out and enjoy there horses and competition.. our competition horses ended the year with all horses jumping well and stepping up levels with the full team consistently paying there way..We look forward to 2016 with the goal for MP Maya to ...continue to step up hopefully getting few starts at the 140 145 level with MP Zita stepping up to 130 along with Rembo, MP Rok Post will step up to 120 with the hope we can find him a great new home as a sj or eventer.. mid year we will be starting our two 2yos which will be exciting times ahead.. The race horses have been a bit slow this year but like everything your time comes around so hoping 2016 brings some wins to the stable.. 18.01.2022 For sale 18yo TB 16hh Geld, B Grade Showjumper competed to 1.40 successfully with my self and previous owners he has been lightly competed so is sound for his age, he has a few quirks one being he wind sucks has done most of his life and is girthy also done this for the 12 years I have known him, so would need an experienced family to take him and someone willing to except his quirks as he is a horse with alot of personality I just have to many horses competing at the same level so one has to go. 17.01.2022 This little mare came to us 3 weeks ago as not knowing if it had been broken in or not she had had someone sit on her but thats all they new.. She did have qui...te an attitude and is quite cold backed but not really nasty we just worked a lot on re mouthing her, as the slightest touch she would slam the brakes on, and being a standy x she struggled a lot with cantering but after three weeks she is now going around quietly in all three paces, I havent asked her to round up into a frame at this stage as I just wanted her to take bit in her mouth confidently without trying the drop behind bit or ovoid contact.. I think she will turn into quite a good kids pony with a bit more exposure and training.. She has now gone home for some further training with there instructor.. See more

13.01.2022 Cow Boy came to us 4 weeks ago to be broken in, what a funny dude this fellow is he has taken to riding like a duck to water but not with out throwing in a bit ...of cheek at times or or the odd please explain. We start most of our horses off a lead horse as this teaches them to go forward by either following or be lead for a start to give them confidence, Cow Boy is now walk trot and cantering by him self or with mate in arena.. Will have more photos in coming days.. Below photo is his first ride with Romi the lead horse remarkably Romi is a stallion and one of the best lead ponies around and is also Showjumping competitively in EA competition and has competed successfully at HRCAV level 1 Dressage.. 11.01.2022 A long but enjoyable weekend was had at Unicorn Park were the Brett Parbery clinic was held, I took Romi ( Woodglen Elusive Quality) a WB stallion who has been ...competing at Elementary level Dressage, we worked on alot on engaging the canter and getting more connection, then we went onto getting better flection in his lateral work, Sunday we worked on bit more of his lateral work and flying changes which he did quite well getting some nice clean changes and overall had much better cadence and connection. My second horse Maya who is jumping 1.35 1.40 showjumping, so in our jumping gear as Brett had suggested, we just did one day were we worked again on connecting the hind quarters and raising the whither getting her to sit more and stay straight we did alot of canter leg yeald and staying straight in flying changes and overall keeping her shoulders straight, he felt she had improved alot from November clinic and she worked much better into a contact and was carrying her self much better. So looking forward to the next clinic next Nov. Thanks to WVDC for organising clinic they are the best lessons I have had and can continue to work on the stuff we did and continue to improve them through the exercises we do at each clinic. Also a thankyou to Wendy Heine for her help and encouragement and Ang green for her hospitality and being able to stay at her place with horses for the night.. See more

07.01.2022 This week we had Geelong Royal, after the trouble we had at Donald with truck it was all fixed on mon so had quick stop over at home and was heading down to Gee...long wed.. Thurs started with Romi getting a 4th in 1m then zita getting 2nd in 110 with Tj 5th, Rembo was a bit fresh and gave me a hard ride in 120 but managed a 5th.. fri started with stella going clear in 1m and Sarah picking up a 3rd then Tj winning 110 with Romi 3rd zita then went on and got a 4th in the 120.. sat started with Stella going clear in 105 ors with Sarah also going clear with Romi just getting pipped for the win coming 2nd zita then got 2nd in 110 ors then Tj stepped up and came 4th in the 120 future stars class..
