25.01.2022 Yesterday afternoon Dubbo HQ along with NSW RFS Eulomogo, Dubbo Fire Station, Burrabadine RFB, Minore Rural Fire Brigade, and Cumboogle Rural Fire Brigade respo...nded to reports of a Grass Fire on Rosedale Road. On arrival crews found two Grass Fires, one with structures under threat and another running along the side of the railway line. Crews were quickly able to gain the upper hand on both fires and bring them under control. Unfortunately several times during firefighting operations there was a large number of sightseers traveling down Rosedale Road for a look, this impeded firefighters efforts as they were delayed in traffic, with a few car blocking the road, had to take extra precautions not to be hit by passing vehicles and even had some stopped next to working crews to take photos. Members of the public are asked to please never drive towards or through an active fire ground as this is unsafe for both you and fire crews and also impacts fire fighting efforts.

10.01.2022 Quick response by the brigade to a tree alight on Minore Rd. Great reactions by neighbours who saw it, called it in and then started to fight it. Thanks for your work. Thanks to brigade members Danny, David, Colby, Brett and Robyn for responding.
