22.01.2022 PLEASE LEAVE THEM IN THE SHOPS The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China. Their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a... toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell. Now comes the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes. They regularly cause intestinal blockages and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog. Please be safe with your dogs!

15.01.2022 URGENT SPECIAL NEEDS CARER REQUIRED Our misunderstood little man Chiko needs a very special carer. He is a beautiful boy but gets very scared with people ent...ering the home. Our originall carer had Chiko in her care for about 9 months and he really bonded with her 9 year old daughter, which was wonderful and they were inseparable. After 9 months Chiko was soon adopted! He again bonded with the 11 year old daughter and things where great, However the bond soon turned to him resource Guarding the daughter and this caused problems for the family. Chiko also does not like people entering the home, again protecting his little human. Lately he has become more and more stressed as the family become more social and visitors more often. Chiko needs a very experienced carer who can give him allot of space. He will need a very quiet home and for now no Children untill we get him some Rehab training. Chiko has always had a thing for Tall people, he just can't cope and gets very afraid. He respond well to petete/small females. Trisha his original foster carer always felt he had issues with tall people (weird I know). That's probably why he gravitates towards the children in the home. We are requesting NO children at the moment until we have reassessed him and our Vet behaviourist and trainer have worked on his fears. Poor little man, is so misunderstood If you are able to help and you have allot of experience with resource guarding and fear/anxiety in dogs small dogs please call or text 0422570822
