25.01.2022 Living in a regional area and operating a small business means the @buyfromthebush campaign is one that really resonates with us on a personal level. We know what a difference buying and supporting local can make, and really love when we can support fellow regional businesses (just ask Tim the butcher down the road, he sometimes sees us three times a week!). This year, my family and I have agreed to #buyfromthebush for Christmas.... We each know there’s an abundance of talent and unique creations anyone on our Christmas lists will love, and hope you’ll join us (along with the tens of thousands of others) in doing the same yourself this festive season and any time of year, really.

We aren’t the only ones kicking goals out this way though, with other incredible businesses living the dream, like Raeleen at Strayleaves Art Studio and Vickie at Purple Pyjamas and Tim at The Rock Butchery and all the others we are yet to meet.

23.01.2022 Colour palettes are a firm favourite starting point of mine and with four council areas being host to an incredible range of public art, culture, history (oh and that canola ), well it’s a Minta dream come true.

22.01.2022 We had the pleasure of working with the team at Eastern Riverina Arts earlier in the year to bring to life the Platform Riverina and Ezy-Dun branding and vinyl wraps. The presentation by Frank and Earnest truly consolidates the positivity the initiative brings to those living with disability. If you’re curious to experience it for yourself, it will be at the Lanterns on the Lagoon and Spirit of the Land events.

First, there’s a conservative primary palette, then a secondary palette for when the brand’s communications need to connect with their millennial target audience. The punchy magenta and yellow make this one of our all-time favourite palettes

09.01.2022 Rach is unashamedly livin' the dream out here at The Rock in VisitLockhart. While it's usually working on branding or digital art, her latest project has actually been out in the paddock. Meet Nina. A dorper lamb with an insatiable thirst for milk and hugs. The last few weeks have been a blur of feeds at all hours, making sure she wasn't getting up at any mischief, and building her her own little castle in the shed to hang out for a while... and she may or may not have ended up in the house (oh, how she slides on the polished concrete!). Nina's now strong enough to be reunited with her family in the paddock. So, if you get Rach’s voicemail, it means she’ll probably be out baaack enjoying a few more cuddles before this little baby gets a little too big.

09.01.2022 While they’re usually recruiting for others, Meritos recruited us for their own needs recently. They needed new branding to help break away from the typical look associated with their industry. The logo we produced portrays innovation and the progressive nature of the company through movement.

08.01.2022 Working with Shiree from Balance Within Remedial Massage on the centre of her branding was a transformation in itself - one which I wanted to break down here. She wanted a memorable and unique logo that communicated the Celtic symbol for balance and her own beliefs of transformation, all in one easy to recognise brandmark. The butterfly is one universal symbol for transformation, and one which Shiree lives and breathes.... Top tip for those playing at home: She books out fast and way in advance, so get a regular appointment. You’re welcome.

07.01.2022 This is the latest incredibly exciting news I get to share with you today! Owen Lyons from Wiradjuri Art And Dreamers Gallery and I will be involved in transforming spaces in the final stage of the $431 million Wagga Wagga Base Hospital redevelopment project into healing and hopeful environments through site-specific art. Think colour, culture and connection - and that’s all I can say for now. Watch this space, friends!

Take a look and let me know what you see within the guide! You might be surprised by what you stumble upon. For most of us, this is a foreign environment that we do not generally encounter on a daily basis. By providing something familiar such as a story with colour and relatable characters that would be part of a ‘normal’ everyday environment for a child, we are working to alleviate some of the anxiety and stress that may be experienced during a hospital admission. 02.01.2022 Littlewood Sign Solutions make it look easy! Here’s a two hour graphic vinyl install captured in three minutes. The artwork is a bespoke narrative artwork at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital Emergency Department, commissioned to help support children and their families during admission in an area dedicated to the hospital’s younger patients. Thanks to Murrumbidgee Local Health District for recognising the role of arts in health and to Give Me 5 for Kids for making this project possible.
