01.01.2022 This is Rod, a regular customer at Michel's Patisserie Minto, who told us about some of his best travel stories I've been pretty much all over the world, Europe, America, Asia, but nothing compares to home. We are so lucky to live in Australia. I've lived in the area for well over 20 years now and have worked various jobs in the local community. My favourite role though was raising my 5 children and now I get to see my 2 grandchildren grow up and start Kindergarten soon.... My children live all over the world now and I've been very fortunate in my life to have had the opportunity to travel to so many different places and to have met so many interesting people. One of my travel highlights was a trip I took with my wife. We flew up to Darwin and spent a week with an Indigenous tribe. We were lucky enough to be apart of their community and learn their way of life. Even years later, I can still remember how fulfilling that experience was and it was something I would never forget. I love travelling but when I return, I appreciate my family, home and community just that much more and truly realise how lucky I am, here in Minto."
