Can also be aspirational. Want to continue building relationship with you... O = One CTA (Call to Action) W = Why! Why would they trust you, why this product/service, why not someone else, why right now! (Urgency) T = Transformation. What state are they in now (before) and what state will they be in after they use your product or service? H = Humanise! So much noise being authentic will help you stand out! 20.01.2022 After analysing all my clients campaigns from 2019, here is one of my top tips for FB ads... Lifetime Budgets performed better than Daily Budgets, by reducing the Cost Per Result. On average they performed as high as 25% to 50% better!... I've done direct comparison tests the last few weeks, and every test I have ever run proves this again and again. Lifetime budgets are cheaper!
19.01.2022 Building out an engagement audience for your Top of Funnel is a great idea! However, ensure you don't choose the default setting and select Automatic Placements. This is because you need to unselect 'Audience Network'. The reason you can't have Audience Network selected is because it can't determine how long someone has watched your video in these placements, so if you want to create an audience of people that watched more than 3 seconds of your video, these people won't be included, which is wasting your precious advertising dollars. Videos are still performing the best out of all creatives! So get going with some video ads :D

18.01.2022 What are you all doing to 'coronavirus' proof your business? I've spent the day coming up with plans for each of my clients. Regardless, if you are worried about the actual virus, the economic impacts will still be felt by a lot of small businesses. So having a plan in place is VITAL. And no... just stopping your marketing and advertising is not a plan.... During a downturn, it's actually the easiest and fastest way for smaller businesses to increase their market share for when things do turnaround. Perfect time to start focusing on your SEO! Can your business alter for some aspects to run virtually? Can you create 'packages' that will help people during potential enforced quarantines? Have you created new ad campaigns to run during this expected downturn? I would be focusing on video ads... People are going to be doing online shopping, watching YouTube, on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest a LOT more if we aren't allowed to venture out or if they get sick. Don't panic! Be resourceful and use this time to test your strengths and take advantage of cheaper impressions! Smart people and smart businesses actually flourish during hard times.

Here are some helpful tips how to lower your CPM: Give Facebook more choice with various ad creatives... Test multiple audiences within a different ad set (Im loving campaIgn budget optimisation) Ensure your landing page or website has fast loading times, cookie notification, privacy policy and doesnt make any income claims Get people engaging with your content, and respond to all comments on your ads Avoid any heavy text penalties by using less than 20% text Making sure payment method is up to date and doesn't default If you feel you need more training or advice with your Facebook Ads, PM me and happy to chat!

16.01.2022 Let's face it... being a business owner is HARD. Some days are AMAZING and you're super glad to be in control of your own time & finances. Other days are exhausting and you think 'WTF' to yourself about a thousand times, and perhaps even question if you're cut out for life as an entrepreneur.... But I'm a big believer in action breeds inspiration. Not the other way around. So on those tough days, just do it! Take those baby steps. Stop looking at the top of the staircase and wonder how you'll even get there. Just start taking a few steps at a time. Know that EVERYONE has bad days. You're not alone. But the difference with the people at the top of the staircase and those at the bottom is that they took that first step, and didn't stop until they got there. Sure.. they might have needed a quick break. But they sure as hell didn't wait to be inspired before taking action. They got inspired BY their actions, and that kept them going. Be proud of even the small things you've achieved, and that will push you into a positive mindset & breed even more action and MORE momentum. Just know you're not alone on this journey and reach out to fellow entrepreneurs. We get it! And we know encouraging others on our bad days will help our whole tribe, level-up! 15.01.2022 If you only do ONE thing today... make sure it's this please.... Go to business.facebook.com and then up to settings (top right)... and then down to Security Centre on the left. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure 2 factor is set to ON!... Hacks into ad accounts are becoming more and more common! They hack into your account and run VERY expensive ads to their own pages (I'm taking upwards of $6000 a day!). Eventually you get it back through a disputed transaction... but still.. that's stressful! So please... go check you've got this turned on!!!!
14.01.2022 Top Tip Tuesday: Social proof matters, especially for ecommerce businesses!! What I like to do with a new campaign, is run a PPE (page post engagement) to the ad first, and optimise for engagements.... Ideally, you run a warm audience to the ad because your fans are more likely to like, comment and share the post. Then, once you have some traction on the ad, get the post ID and pop it into a Conversion Campaign. Boom! High relevance score + Low CPA = $$$

14.01.2022 Some days I feel guilty I'm not 100% dedicated to mothering my children all day every day. And sad that sometimes I have to say, "Sorry honey, but Mummy has to finish some work". BUT then I read statistics like this and I realise apart of my job as a Mother is to set good example for my children, especially my daughter, that carving out your own career and income is important. I'm super blessed I've been able to create a business where I can work from home and be fairly flexi...ble around my children. That still means sometimes they have quick dinner (aka cereal or eggs on toast) when I'm madly trying to finish a website or client's campaign. I think it's important I can show my children I can thrive, not just survive, on my own as a woman. And I feel apart of my journey is to help other women create an actual profitable business from home that allows them security and flexibility so we can drastically improve statistics like this!
13.01.2022 Let's talk pricing! Are you charging correctly, so your business can survive in the long term? Your pricing needs to:... Reflect the gross profit targets/margin your company requires. Ensure you take into account GST & expected tax. Effectively covers the cost to have employees (as you'll need to factor this in from the start to grow in the future). Recover your overhead costs (are you considering all your overheads- rent, electricity, insurances, internet, admin costs) Cover any variable costs that may occur. Especially if you're a service based business where delays due to weather can come into play. Allow for fluctuations in material costs (Important if you're dealing with USD for importing your goods & materials). You don't need to be the cheapest. But you do need to be able to communicate your value clearly.. be it higher quality service, product or warranty!
13.01.2022 How innovative is this! One of my awesome clients and now friend, Michelle from TWIGS Toy Boutique has now launched Personal Shopping Experiences in her amazing toy store. This way, people can safely shop without anyone else around. Plus the store gets sanitised after each session. We had such a fun time putting this together. Isla was somewhat cooperative hahaha. ... Of course, she has online available too... but we know some people will get a bit of cabin fever being locked away. So this is definitely a smart & safe way to have a bit of a breather! Plus a great opportunity to stock up on things to entertain the kiddies :D

11.01.2022 How do you interact with your customers post purchase? Once someone buys from you, are you hitting them with a remarketing campaign to continue building your brand? Are you following them up via email to ask for a review?... Are you offering a referral program or offering incentives for upsells? It's a known fact that on average you make 80% of your income from 20% of your customers. BUT - so many businesses forget about this core group of customers. They are so focused on getting new customers or clients into their sales funnel (which takes a lot longer to encourage these 'strangers' to purchase from you), rather than encourage repeat customers to buy again. So ask yourself... what can I do today to reach out to my existing audience and ensure I'm keeping a positive relationship going between us!

08.01.2022 I get asked this question a lot from new and prospective clients "Why does Google spend more than my allocated daily budget sometimes?" Google campaigns can spend up to double their daily budget on any given day, however over a 30 day period Google will spend no more than 30.4 times the daily budget. For example; if you set your daily budget for a campaign to $50 a day.... on some days it might spend up to $100 a day on other days it might spend $25 a day over a month period, it will spend a maximum of 30.4 x $50 (roughly $1520) Google adjusts the daily spend according to search volume fluctuations. 04.01.2022 Today is a quick Google Adwords tip. If you're running Google Adwords, be sure to check your location targeting. Nearly all accounts that I audit make this easy mistake. The default is set to: People in, or who show interest in, your targeted locations.... However... it's best to manually select 'People in or regularly in your targeted locations' If you don't, you're almost guaranteed to get spam calls from overseas trying to sell you their own services, which unnecessarily eats up your ad budget!
