22.01.2022 Every now and then we come across a part of a cars history that puts a bit of a smile on our face. This monaro is one of the better ones. Not sure who Darryl and Karen are but they clearly loved each other as much as this car!

21.01.2022 This little Escort is ready for restoration. Paint gone, bog gone, sealer gone and rust gone!Etch primed inside and out. All cavities etched as well.

21.01.2022 Stripping this little Cooper Mini this morning. Coming up real pucka! Into derust tommorow. Our tanks are doing there magic like no other process can! Clean inside and out and not a drop of garnet used.

20.01.2022 This Lx ss has been with Minus Paints new rust treatment system. We now can derust inside all those box sections without the use of any sand blasting. The integrity of the factory pressed steel remains intact.This vehicle is treated inside and out! This a first for South Australian restorers and is the ultimate in rust removal.

20.01.2022 Just finished stripping and de rusting this beautiful cast iron bench. Came up an absolute treat! Ready for another 100 years of relaxing....Just needs a fresh coat of paint.

18.01.2022 Just finished complete paint and rust removal from these two chasis. Spotless inside! Spotless outside! The only way to attack rust on the inners is dipping. What a great result!

14.01.2022 A quick example of paint and rust removal on heritage fence posts. These posts had been painted many, many times. Their now clean and ready to paint.

14.01.2022 These heritage listed fence panels have been through both dipping and blasting. The reason for this is the dipping removes the paint and allows light blasting to take place for surface rust without losing any detail in the original castings. A great way to bring new life to some very old panels!

13.01.2022 One very clean HR x2 ute! Only a few of these were built and we are very proud to have been part of the restoration process. One of the great things about dipping is we find the original factory chalk marks under the paint (there not simply blasted away). In this case we found the "no7" marked on the fire wall. As only nine were built as a ute its a fair guess this was indeed no7.

13.01.2022 This FE is out of stripping and ready for the de rust tank. Almost a shame not to clear coat as it is! Pefect patina! Rust free by Friday....

12.01.2022 This little Escort is free of years of paint and all that other nasty things that happens. Time to put it in the new derust system and free her of all the nasty rust! Check back in a couple days and it will be ready for a quality restoration.( minus the rusted metal).

10.01.2022 This Charger is now super clean! It has a road ahead of it however that road is now clear to see. All in all a solid car. Just the usual sills and other bits. All paint and nasty stuff removed. A bit more preparation and into etch primer. More pictures tommorow. Enjoy!

10.01.2022 So our car of the week has most of its paint removed. Time to get it in the air to remove the underbody gunk then into de rust! Should look pretty sweet by Monday.....

10.01.2022 For all the z car fans out there. This Datsun has been through the complete Minus Paint process. First stripped and then derusted inside and out! More and more of this era vehicle are coming through our shop.

10.01.2022 We pulled the Toppolino out of derust and check it out. Still a couple of touch ups here and there but all in all clean as she can be. A great result!

06.01.2022 We currently have this very rare RX2 Mazda Capella RE for sale! This car apart from the tear down is basically untouched. A very rare opportunity to make one of these cars truly your own. It has the original 12A engine and gear box (auto). Yes it needs alot of work but it's all there to see, not hiding under a previous resto. Car is 99% complete including the original steering wheel! 05.01.2022 So after a some time in derust and Dylan adding a few finishing touches this little "ford ESCORT" is looking good for etch prime! Clean as it can be inside and out and not one speck of garnet. Top job Dylan! Some more photos tommorow.
