17.01.2022 How to double cleanse. Some of you may have heard of the double cleansing method. This is essentially where you cleanse your skin twice, usually at the end of the day. So how do you do it? The first step in this routine is usually an Oil Cleanser. You use the oil cleanser to remove excess oils and make up. As the saying goes oils are attracted to oils. It is a gentle and soft way to get rid of make up easily and generally without pulling the skin or irritation. It is qu...ite effective and generally more effective than just using a standard cleanser. You then use a warm wet towel to remove the oil on your face. The second step is using a gel or cream cleanser that gets rid of any oil left on your face as well as any remaining pollutants. This ensures that nothing is missed. That's all there is to it!
